types of long term accommodation everywhere for various prices. All you have to do is to choose any type of lodging as you want Types of lodgings 1) Flats If you are moving in with your whole family, buying a flat would be a good solution. You have enough space here and you can decorate the flat as you wish. Most of the apartments have more than one bedroom, in case you are inviting your friends over. 2) Houses. If you miss your yard and if you can afford a house, here is the solution.
This will make you feel comfortable. Moreover, houses are really spacious and you have enough area to separate dining room, living room, bed room, study room etc. However, you have to spend lots of money on this. So consider about your income before purchasing one.
3) Bed- sits
These are houses which have several small apartments. These are inexpensive and affordable. In these houses, an apartment has one bedroom and sometimes a sitting area. Kitchen and the bathroom have to be shared. Therefore, bed sits are considered as really convenient lodgings
4) Flat-shares
These are really popular and common in UK. Here you have to share facilities such as bathroom, dining room, living room with someone. And here, the bedroom is occupied but it can be still available for someone else. Means, you are having a flat mate in this lodging. Flat shares are convenient for a person who doesn’t like to live alone of for couples.
When people find lodgings, they consider about the price, whether it is furnished or not, space, number of rooms, etc. Even though it is little bit difficult to adjust to a new way of living, with the time people get adapted to it. However, you have to pay more attention when you find a
residence.
Homelessness in the United States has been an important subject that the government needs to turn its attention to. There has been announced in the news that the number of the homeless people in many major cities in the United States has been increasing enormously. According to United States Interagency Council on Homelessness reported that there was an estimation of 83,170 individuals have experienced chronic homelessness on the streets of the United States’ streets and shelters on only a single night of January 2015, which is a small decrease of only 1% from the previous year (People Experiencing Chronic Homelessness, n.d.). The United States must consider this subject that most of the people underestimate it and not pay attention

Gentrification is described as the renovation of certain neighborhoods in order to accommodate to young workers and the middle-class. For an area to be considered gentrified, a neighborhood must meet a certain median home value and hold a percentage of adults earning Bachelor’s degree. Philadelphia’s gentrification rate is among the top in the nation; different neighborhoods have pushed for gentrification and have seen immense changes as a result. However, deciding on whether or not gentrification is a beneficial process can become complicated. Various groups of people believe that cities should implementing policy on advancing gentrification, and others believe that this process shouldn’t executed. Both sides are impacted by the decision to progress gentrification; it is unclear of the true implications of completely renovating impoverished urban areas; gentrification surely doesn’t solve all of a community’s issues. I personally believe that gentrification is not necessarily a good or bad process; gentrification should occur as a natural progression of innovative economies and novel lifestyles collide within certain areas. Policy involving gentrification should not support the removal of people out of their neighborhood for the sake of advancement.
Imagine having to leave your hometown, where you have lived all of your life, in search of another job. You do not want to move, but at the same time you want to provide food and a decent lifestyle for you and your family. News arrives that an abundance of jobs are available in another part of the country. Hoping for the best, you pack your bags and head for employment. Your kids are saddened about the situation, but they understand the need for relocation. During the travel to the new area, you and your family begin to get excited about living in a different place, even though everyone regrets leaving friends and family behind.
There are many challenges that one must face as we go through life. I have faced a few myself, however, none proved more challenging than moving from my country; Jamaica, to the United States and subsequently moving to the state of Wisconsin. Deciding to leave behind family and friends is the hardest decision to make, however, there are a few things that I was not prepared for that made the transition more challenging than expected. Moving away from all that is familiar culturally, socially and economically can be even more of a daunting task than imagined. There are things that are taught to us by our parents and others that are more dictated by our environment than anything else, so when I immigrated to the United States I had three major challenges to overcome.
There are three distinct classes of houses in the tenement-houses; the cheapest is the attic home. Three rooms is next and is usually for very poor people. The vast majority of respectable working people live in four rooms. Each of these classes reflects the needs and resources of the renters in that the attic home, for example, is generally one small room and is usually rented out by a lonely elderly person with not much money. Three rooms generally consist of a kitchen and two dark bedrooms and are usually rented out to very poor people who have a family. Four rooms generally consist of a kitchen, two dark bedrooms, and a parlor and are usually rented out by respectable, hard working families.
Well, a place where to live is essential for everybody. Today I am going to show you a less expensive, practical and ecofriendly solution for this basic but indispensable necessity.
Moving is an emotional event that everyone experiences at one time or another in their life. Nevertheless, visualize yourself moving to a new place to live with people you are not familiar with. How frightened are you at this moment? To intensify it all, you are hesitant of how things will work out and soon come to terms that it's not enjoyable task. In Elsa's case in the short story "Hired Girl" by Alice Munro she was not treated like a human being, given any respect, or compassion what so ever. Since Elsa was treated that way, it left her with many barriers to over come such as feeling like she was only a maid, not being able to eat with other people and socialize, and unable to express her intelligence without being put down.
#*Visiting a different place can help you stay grounded and positive after the decision. Plus, if you’re around loved ones, you will feel care for and hopeful about the future.
People all over are adopting working from home. Mothers especially are appealed by the idea of taking care of their home and bring in income. From the outside, it may look as a laissez faire kind of adventure but in retrospect, it is serious work. Working from home requires self-discipline, without it the “freedom “that it offers could turn into a draining venture that does not compensate.
rationally you should decide whether to live or dir. If not the people who know
Initially, adjusting their new place makes them feel comfortable. They should try as many new things as possible to enjoy
A family is a social foundation found in all societies. It unites people in supportive system as they care for one another. In many countries, including the U.S., families form around marriage and are seen as a legal relationship. Patterns of marriage and relationship vary around the world. The most important thing to do when we want to find a nice room, I thought, was that to correct as much information as I can. Therefore, what I did at first is to check every public board not to miss any information that says, ?gRoommates wanted?h,?h Room for Rent?h or ?gHouse for rent?h. I searched the board in Business Building, EJCH, JTSU, and Main library. However, I could not many of them and if luckily I found these were not so cheap or too far from UNR. Then I started to search the room list at Student Residency Service office. There I found one room five minutes from school on foot. I went back to the dorm I live now in a hurry and called, it was my first phone call to person from other country. The call rang, but no one answer. I waited for a while, then the massage started saying ?hThis number is no longer valid?cplease call XXX-XXXX?h. A short tense atmosphere ended, and I felt relieved. I called the new number, but I could not talk to anyone.
To put it very simply, I don't feel at home here. I'd like to go home, but I'm not sure where that is. To make matters worse, I've been wondering about this for several years, like maybe fifteen or twenty years, trying one place after another. Nothing seems to fit.
