According to the 16 Personalities, I am the Defender personality (ISFJ, -A/-T). Only 13% of the world’s population. Halle Berry, Vin Diesel, Beyoncé Queen Elizabeth II, Kate Middleton, Anne Hathaway, and Selena Gomez are all Defenders. Defenders are supportive, reliable and patient, imaginative and observant, enthusiastic, loyal and hard-working, and have good practical skills. I can see most of these personality traits with myself. I love to help others whenever I can. When it comes to work especially at my job as a Student Intern for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) I am meticulous and careful with each task. I can be an imaginative personal although I have a very practical imagination. In the description for enthusiastic …show more content…
I can be shy which causes me to not let my thoughts known. Sometimes I find myself getting my feelings hurt because I take things literal. I do find myself stressed and frustrated because I keep my feelings and emotions to myself. I like to keep my life’s details very private. I have a tendency t overload myself with tasks because I do not have the heart to simply tell people no. Here is a big weakness of mine: reluctant to change. I hate change. It stresses me out and I find it very difficult. I can be a warm-hearted person which allows me to let certain things slide. I do this in hopes things will get better one day. Although these are considered weaknesses, I can also see where they could possibly be turned into strengths with a little …show more content…
They support coworkers as well as the customers they serve. Defenders careers usually progress smoothly because of their hard work, dedication, and meticulousness. They experience few ups and downs in their career. Although, Defenders are unlikely to seek managerial positions they have no problem moving along in a structure hierarchy. Defenders do not need recognition from others because their recognition comes from a successful finished product or the positive impact they had on others. According to Keirsey I am a Guardian. Guardians are factual, dependable, steady, cautious, law-abiding, logistical, respectable, concerned, and detailed. Once again, I feel all these keywords describe my personality. There are four types of Guardians. They are: the Guardian Supervisor (ESTJ), Guardian Inspector (ISTJ), Guardian Provider (ESFJ), and Guardian Protector (ISFJ). Based on the 16 Personalities quiz I am a ISFJ. Therefore, I would be a Guardian Protector which only makes up 10% of the
This was also referred to as The Advocate which I thought was very appropriate for our assingment. The results state that The Advocate has a strong sense of morality, likes finding solutions for others and one of the strengths listed was that this personality type makes excellent counselors. This type is known for seeing through manipulation and dishonesty and getting to the heart of matters with truth and sincerity. I can see that all of these personality traits are crucial for helping others and dealing with the conflict that arises when advocating for those who are oppressed and face discrimination. Some of the weaknesses stated for this personality type are perfectionist, impatient, extremely private, sensitive, and burn out easily. As I read the weaknesses, I realized that I need to keep self care a priority throughout my education and future career. It also makes sense that a lot of my self care practices are about introspection and finding balance. I think that this assessment was very accurate of my personality and I enjoyed reading about The Advocate personality

I believe that everyone has their own strength and weaknesses, but not everyone is able to figure out their strengths and weaknesses correctly. Knowing our own strengths and weaknesses is essential because it can help to achieve success in anything we choose to do. For me, my weakness is the time management, communication skills and weak in preparing effective Curriculum Vitae (CV) Below will be further explaining all my personal weaknesses and the ways to overcome it.
...ess I have is that I am not the most organized person but I overturned that weakness by scheduling everything important on my phone and creating To Do Lists. All of these experiences, strengths, and weaknesses define who I am so I have embraced them and love them because they make me awesome.
I dislike being stressed out, and I don’t like to have to choose. No one likes to be forced into something, and I don’t like to be forced into decisions. I have always been known to be dependent and to be very indecisive, both of which come hand in hand. I recognize the importance of being able to take yourself, but not everyone is the same and I’m just a little less independent than others. I like being around people
The weakness I portray are very difficult for me to think of. I know that I have quite a few but to change them is something that I have not full conquered yet. A weakness I know I have is sentence structure. I am not very good at putting sentences together and making them strong and well developed. Another weakness that is obvious is word choice. I don't always know the exact wording to use in different parts of a paper, this makes it hard to understand sometimes not very well written.
These strengths and weaknesses were mainly discovered through the papers that we have written. I have many strengths when I’m writing papers and at the same time, I have many weaknesses. In my papers, I have noticed that one of my biggest strengths is how articulate I am. The papers that have been written by myself show that I structured sentences to present ideas in different ways. It is not straightforward and boring when ideas are presented. I like to keep the reader hooked on my paper. In order to keep up with this strength, I like to read articles. The articles I read are typically the ones that present new ideas or start arguments. This is one of my strengths that I am very proud
Three aspects of my personality are avoidant, high on conscientiousness and a high need for achievement. These personality characteristics were studied using different theories, the attachment theory, Big Five, and the motivational theory. Together, these aspects make me who I am. I am someone who is driven, hard working, disciplined, and has a hard time trusting and letting other people into my personal life. Everyone has their different personality traits which make them unique, and that’s the beauty of humans. No one is exactly like anyone
I love people. Since I am 81% extroverted, I gain energy from being with others and seek to make the people I love happy and one of my greatest joys is to see those I love succeed and have their dreams come true (16 Personalities, 2017). I am loyal, but I tend go somewhat overboard when trying to avoid conflict or make things work in a relationship. I can allow myself to be hurt by being transparent and then

For personal and professional growth, given my personality traits, I need to embrace my strengths and weaknesses. I must use my strengths to my advantage, to be more effective academically and in the workplace, but I also need to identify and try to overcome my weaknesses, especially professionally.
One strength I saw myself, as having when I enter college is being able to understand and critical think about a essay/article that I have read. However, after taking English 101, I have now learned that this is a strength of mine as well as a weakness.
Although I would like to think I was perfect, I have come into the reality that in order to move forth in life you must continually try to better yourself both professionally and personally. I feel that my most crippling weakness is my lack of education. Now days, you can?t practically get a job flipping burgers without an Associates Degree.
The aspect which could be counted as my weakness is communication. Over the last year, there has been an improvement after working in my family’s café thus improving these skills and will continue
I am sentimental, out-going, indecisive, understanding, curious, naive, lazy, and young. I want to be ... , well a lot of things, and growing is discovering what they are. I feel people cannot see the potential within, although there is no one to blame but myself. I look to others for approval instead of to myself. I aim to please; it leads to approval. I don’t like to discuss my faults; I pity myself.
