Cosmetologist, if you didn't know what that was it's a person who goes to school to do makeup, nails, hair and also skin care.Currently what's what I want my career to be in the future. It might be a good job for me because I like working with hair, makeup nails and skin care. I also think this would be a good job because it's very social.
Cosmetologists work with nothing but hair, makeup and nails. Those are one my favorite things to do. Everything a cosmetologist does are fun to experiment with and try new things with. For example, I can also express myself with dramatic looks and different colors or just an everyday natural look. It can also be very artistic and very detailed.Makeup can also cover up imperfections and insecurities people

have. Such as patchiness skin colors others might have redness or just a bad day in the sun. With hair you can also be as creative as you possibly can with both genders. Some people might be depending on you to decide what hairstyle would look best after it's been dyed and cut so, you might get to experiment a little with that specific person. There will also be people who want a design shaved into their hair, but they don't know what kind, so you also have to be creative and give them ideas on what they might like. Nails can come in a wide range of styles and colors. It can also be art with all different colors mixed together and styles and even jewels. I also think it would be a good job because it's a social job.
I would get to meet new people every day. Every day I will get to see a new person and learn a little about them. Everyone that comes in will have a different age, background and life story. In fact you’re getting the chance to have positive relationships with all different types of people. Not only do I get to build relationships and meet new clients but co-workers to. I get to see them every day it would be helpful to be friends or get along with them as well just in case there's a few jobs you aren't as confident with one thing as you are other things. One of your coworkers could be more confident in doing that certain thing so you would want to get along so it not awkward when you ask them for help.
Just like any other job there are some not so good things included. You are not going to build a positive relationship with everyone. Some people just don't like communication with other people.Every job you do, whether it's someone's nails, hair or makeup not everyone is going to be perfect. Consequently, you're probably going to mess up every once I a while, but sometimes people won’t accept a redo and take the situation a little farther than it really need to go. Another con to being a cosmetologist is being on your feet most of the day, but that's not always a terrible thing.
So now that I've named some pros and cons on why being a cosmetologist would be a good job.Like being social. Then it being one of my favorite things to do. Even knowing the poor qualities to it, I still would want it to be my career in the
future.
This job is said to be “a job that provides a helpful service which that means that it cannot be accomplished by automated machines” (Beautyschooldirectory-.com). Every since I was a child I have had a passion for doing other people’s hair. When I was little I would use my baby dolls as clients and work on their hair until it was perfect and neat. I have chosen to be in the cosmetology field because I like to help other people with their needs and wants as well as mine. I am aware that while working in this industry I will work with many different ethnic groups and many different hair types. I feel I can do anything as long as I have the determination to do so. Many people go to cosmetology school to work for someone else, but I would like to open up a mini-salon out of my own home someday.
Towards the end, you’ll get a touch of the job reflection and outlook. A lot of great information is listed, so there should be plenty of it learned. Cosmetology has been around since the ancient times and the Egyptians. It was the Egyptian women who gave a lot of importance to hair care, nails, makeup, and overall beauty. The natural look changed from the reverted look to the cosmetic look.
This profession also has a large business aspect to it and that intrigues me a lot. I have grown up always listening to my dad talk about business and the market and how “the business world” is very important, I’ve have just become more and more interested in finding out all about that. The world of fashion is something that I have always wanted to be a part of, and now, I am working my way there.
I am not an artsy person by any means. If I did have the skills of an artist I might enjoy to have that job. I know plenty of people that love to draw, and would enjoy this job a lot. However, it’s just not the job for me.
Although the job of food stylist sounds very interesting because of making delicious looking food and taking photos of it, it would not be a job I would pursue my career in. Based off of
Cosmetologists and clients both are being affected by improper sanitation and care. Cosmetologists are always going to stay in their work space until their shift is over. They will continually be breathing the dangerous fumes from the many different chemicals being used. These fumes will possibly cause some health hazards in their future. Clients will be coming in and out of the salon to get their services done. If there are improper cleaning skills and cosmetologists show less care towards their clients health, the client will possibly be getting a bacterial disease or maybe even a deadly disease. Diseases like hepatitis, HIV and AIDS can be possibly infect your tools. Cosmetologist and nail technicians do not know who will be coming in and out of the salon. They will not know what a person may be having with their health, hygiene, and o...
The career that I have chosen is massage therapy. I think that this is a good fit for me because I like to help people relax and unwind from whatever it is that is stressing them out. This job has intrigued me and I want to share it with you. So I will be talking to you about the duties, nature, qualifications, educational training, and even earnings.
...of the day. However I don’t recommend this job to people that get bored easily when applying people’s makeup, people that can’t stand for long periods of time, people who aren’t very hygienic or unsocial people.
...to be creative and I think it would be cool to design things that could be everywhere such as a magazine cover, movie posters, etc. Some things about this career that don't appeal to me are things such as if people don't like my work or if I do a bad job on a project.
Why is fashion stylist important? That’s the question asked by many people throughout the fashion world. Fashion stylist has the job of selecting clothes for publishing editorial features, advertising campaigns, and styling people who may need to be dressed for an event or on a day to day basis. The stylist are more commonly known for the dressing of celebrities in the finest fashion couture and doing so by putting them in some of the biggest designers in the world such as Versace or the wonderful brand of Coco Chanel. This is the reasons why I have always cared more
Although some high schools offer vocational training, most people receive their training from a postsecondary vocational school. Newly hired specialists sometimes receive on-the-job training, especially if their jobs require working with chemicals. Those who are employed in a medical environment also may receive on-the-job training, often working alongside an experienced skin care specialist. After completing an approved cosmetology or esthetician program, skin care specialists take a written and practical exam to get a state license. Licensing requirements vary by state, so those interested should contact their state board” (skincare therapist; how to become one). Passing the board exams and knowing how to treat the skin is very important to be able to keep every client 's skin healthy. “Cosmetology usually lasts at least nine months and may lead to an associate’s degree. Most of these workers take advanced courses in hairstyling or in other personal appearance services to keep up with the latest trends. Those who want to open their own business also may take courses in sales and marketing” (cosmetology; how to become one). Keeping up with new styles and techniques is important to help yourself and also a client when working with them so they know what you are doing and can potentially recreate your work for themselves in the
My ideal career would allow me to do something that interests me. I enjoy working with words and with numbers. I've also had success in the areas of technology and customer service.
