Food stylist has to arrive very early to work and that is something I would not be happy with because I am not a big fan of getting up early and going to work. For example, I currently go to school and I have to wake up early every single day, and I have been doing that for many years and I am still not used to it. So if I can not get used to getting up early for school then I would not be able to get used to getting to work early. Then Food stylist has to leave late from work due to photo shoots or television segments would again something I do not like at all. They have to be standing for a long time in getting the perfect shot of the food they prepared which will be put on with a magazine or on tv segments. I would be very tired and frustrated for standing for a long time to get a perfect shot that will impress the client and actually be liked by the audience who would actually like the picture I take.
There are not many jobs of food stylist in the America, the outlook is very small and the job is like only around two-five states. It would be difficult for me to find the perfect spot for me to settle down and actually go to

Nutritionism and Today’s Diet Nutritionism is the ideology that the nutritional value of a food is the sum of all its individual nutrients, vitamins, and other components. In the book, “In Defense of Food” by Michael Pollan, he critiques scientists and government recommendations about their nutritional advice. Pollan presents a strong case pointing out the many flaws and problems that have risen over the years of following scientific studies and government related warnings on the proper amount of nutrients needed for a healthy diet. Pollan’s main point is introducing science into our food system has had more of a negative impact than a positive one, we should go back to eating more of a traditional diet. I believe food science has given us

America is a capitalist society. It should come to a surprise when we live like this daily. We work for profit. We’ll buy either for pleasure or to sell later for profit. It should come to no surprise that our food is made the same way because we are what we eat. We are capitalist that eat a capitalist meal. So we must question our politics. I’m applying to the University of Nevada, Reno dietetic internship because it will provide me with the tools I need to successfully advance into the dietetics profession. I’m interested in both the clinical aspect of the profession, which this program focuses on, and also in the community.
