True Friends Once upon a time, there were two close friends who were walking through the forest together. They knew that anything dangerous can happen any time in the forest. So they promised each other that they would always be together in any case of danger. Suddenly, they saw a large bear getting closer toward them. One of them climbed a nearby tree at once. But unfortunately the other one did not know how to climb up the tree. So being led by his common sense, he lay down on the ground breathless and pretended to be a dead man. The bear came near the one who was lying on the ground. It smelt in his ears, and slowly left the place because the bears do not want to touch the dead creatures. After that, the friend on the tree came down and …show more content…
The fox, who was a conceited creature, boasted how clever she was. 'Why, I know at least a hundred tricks to get away from our mutual enemies, the dogs,' she said. 'I know only one trick to get away from dogs,' said the cat. 'You should teach me some of yours!' 'Well, maybe some day, when I have the time, I may teach you a few of the simpler ones,' replied the fox airily. Just then they heard the barking of a pack of dogs in the distance. The barking grew louder and louder - the dogs were coming in their direction! At once the cat ran to the nearest tree and climbed into its branches, well out of reach of any dog. 'This is the trick I told you about, the only one I know,' said the cat. 'Which one of your hundred tricks are you going to use?' The fox sat silently under the tree, wondering which trick she should use. Before she could make up her mind, the dogs arrived. They fell upon the fox and tore her to pieces. The Ant and the Dove One hot day, an ant was seeking for some water. After walking around for a moment, she came to a spring. To reach the spring, she had to climb up a blade of grass. While making her way up, she slipped and fell unintentionally into the
The wolf was staring at Brian, and Brian was staring at the wolf. Brian stood there staring at the wolf until the wolf turned its head and walked away in the opposite direction. The next day Brian decides to go hunt for some real meat, with his self-constructed bow and arrow. He sees a flock of birds sitting next to the lake. He pulls back the arrow, but the bow breaks in half. The wood wasn’t strong
The lake finally melted and flooded the cabin, so a tent was pitched only ten yards from a hunting path. A boundary was made after the tent was pitched and the wolves never crossed it. Farley figured out the wolves were living on mice much more than caribou. When the heat came the wolves more their pups to a summer den where they could run. He watched the wolves hunting one day and was in a rage when they would not try and attack any of the healthy deer. Watching closely he figured out that they usually only eat the sick and weak deer.

The other people he didn’t know. One he could tell was Russian. The bear came into the cave and ate the unknown man, and then he threw the rest of them in a corner. He then ate Timmy and ripped the Russian’s left arm off and ate that as well. Then the bear walked out of the cave to go somewhere. So then the kid got up and walked over to the Russian, for he wasn’t tied up so he could about freely, and asked Russian how he had gotten here from Russia. The Russian said the bear could swim faster and stronger than a dolphin. So he helped the Russian man up, but before they could get out of the cave the bear came back again with another person, whom he threw to the back of the room. Then the bear knocked the kid back and ate the rest of the Russian, which the kid could see very vividly. The bear left the cave again right after that. So the kid walked over to the other victim and asked him who he was. The man was a fisherman who lived on the lake right outside of town. So the fisherman got up, called 911, and then he pulled out his revolver and gave the kid a butcher knife. When the bear came back, they attacked it. The bear died, and the cops rescued the two victims. When

Once upon a time a naive man named Bob was accumulating a bunch of candy. He was stupid enough to adorn his gingerbread house with candy. The ruinous mice ate all his candy. The disconsolate man set out to get back his candy and kill the mice. He blundered around until he stumbled to a river, so Bob decided that this was a good place to rest for the night. The next day the sleep deprived man was captured by the mice. He woke up face to face with a odious mouse. Bob struggled indignantly against the rough hemp rope. The mice rasped and drowned on and on about mice being superior to all other animals, meanwhile Bob slowly untied the rope that bound him. Suddenly he was free moving slowly he grabbed a stick. When the mouse turned his back on him
TRANSITION: Now that you know how intelligent cats are, lets talk about their tail signals.
Two men, Henry and Bill go sledding with six dogs. Each night they camp in the merciless wilderness, a dog is killed by a wolf pack. The wolves come closer to camp every night, until there are three dogs left. One of the wolves is different and bigger then the rest, a she-wolf, who’s use to people and afraid of guns. One day the men’s sled overturned and got caught up in trees. They had to untie the dogs to fix things. One of the dogs saw the she-wolf and took off after her, only to be ambushed by a dozen wolves. The dog ran for his life, while Bill went with his gun to save him. Bill and the dog both became a meal to the wolves. A couple of nights later, so did the rest of the dogs. The only thing that saved Henry was sheltering in the middle of a fire he’d made. By the time the fire had died, other men came with sled dogs to his rescue.
The author states in “Native American Totem Animals & Their Meanings”, the fox is “ quick-witted.” Some people might agree after seeing my grades throughout the years and the goals I’ve accomplished. According to the text “Animal Symbols”, the fox “symbolizes anticipation, observation, and stealth.” I find those skills whenever I'm trying to avoid being involved in trouble, or the opposite (rarely). Observing others helps me understand people and the reasons for their actions. I also chose the owl because it stands for “insight,... mystery, freedom, and secrets”, as stated by the author in “Native American Totem Animals & Their Meanings”. It is also a symbol of “wisdom”, according to the text “Northwest Symbols”. Many of my peers would find me somehow mysterious because I rarely open up and talk about myself. Because I am like this, people are not afraid to tell me their secrets. My so-called wisdom is from me reading an enormous amount of books in my
Although people’s opinion of this animal ranges to “rodent” to “mystical animal of the gods!!”,the fox should receive due credit for its diversity as a species and for all of it’s intellectual behavior. I can not look upon,or even think of this graceful animal with anything less than respect.
At first he couldn't believe what had just happened. After wiping his eyes and making sure he wasn't dreaming, he said to his dog Comet "it's Saturday, I'm sleeping in." Comet responded with "In that case get up you lazy bum and play outside with me"
A fox is one cunning animal. And in the story, it is proven to be right. From the fox's lesson that one can see only what is essential by looking with the heart, the author leaves the desert as a changed person. He agrees with the little prince's thought: 'the stars are beautiful, because of a flower that cannot be seen';.
When you’re young, you don’t care about how a person looks or acts, they’re just people, friends. Growing up, you’ll find that qualities a friend has to have or can’t have become very important. It took a special kind of friend to show me that the true heart of a person is what really counts.
