Recommended: How to be a successful student

Imagine you had the perfect marking period grades ever. Well, I had a great first marking period. It was actually enjoyable (besides the tests and quizzes). I am doing well in school because I work hard, have good teachers, and have great friends.

My work ethic helps me excel in academics. As soon as I get home from school, I try to do my homework so I don’t have to worry about it later. I also feel that I participated pretty well in class discussions and group work, because of that I understood what we were learning. I also listened carefully to the instructions so I would know what to do. When I work hard and finish all my work, my grades start rocketing up.
