Personal Narrative: Running Through The Woods

Running through the woods as fast as I can, waiting till I am in the clear, for that one chance, to just stop and breathe. When I finally get the opportunity to stop, which will only be for a moment, because I will soon have to face my next feat.
I am as stealthy as a fox but as heavy as a box of rocks. Every day is different, whether I am running from hunters, rumbling vehicles, scary predators, or sometimes even obnoxious people. Although a lot of the times the people around where I live are very kind, they feed me lots of good food like corn, apples, bread, and some other interesting looking food. Whether we are exploring our outside world, playing fun games, or doing some seriously silly activities. I love when I get to hang out with my daughter and granddaughters, they make my life so much more worth living. Even in the hard times, when I am sick or have been hurt, they are always there for me. They helped me realize that I am a fighter, that I have enough courage and strength to conquer the world. Though lately, I am not as spry as I used to be, my body is beginning to weaken. The path leads to a secluded part of the forest, where a beautiful bed of wildflowers laid. These flowers were filled with vibrant colors like reds, pinks, and yellows, glistening in the wind. They had a wonderful aroma, the fragrances of lavender, vanilla, and a sweet citrus filled the air. They were so soft to touch and overall just beautiful. Since no one else was around I thought decided to lay down and take a small nap. As I plopped down, the flowers crinkling underneath me, I thought that this was the softest place in the world. That was the best nap that I had ever taken, I did not toss or turn, there were no disturbances, and I had peaceful dreams. I had wonderful dreams about all of my memories, the greats times with my family, and all the special holidays. My family was laughing, smiling, singing, and overall, enjoying life. Not letting any obstacles get in the way of their goals. Then all of a sudden a bright light flashed in front of my eyes, drawing me forward like a moth to a flame. As a got up, I was relieved, happy to get up and walk towards the light. As I slowly went across a beautiful stone bridge leading toward the light, I could feel the warmth and love of my family and friends. I was finally relieved of all my pain, all of my burdens. I was as free as a bird, light as a feather. I was ready to take a step of faith and walk through
