Personal Narrative: My Trip To Florida

This is my letter to you about what I did over the summer. I had a great, long, and enjoyable summer this year (2024). This summer I went to Florida. Florida is a whole lot different than Wyoming, as you might already know. My summer started off really slow and boring, but as the summer went on it got better and more fun. I also spent a lot of time with my friends and family over the summer. We did things such as hang out, golf, drive around, go camping, go to the lake, and more. Florida was really hot, but also really fun. I was in Florida for around 3 weeks and my main goal when I was there was to get really tan. My family has a cabin which we love to visit and do things such as fish, hike, enjoy nature, and play yard games with each other. A part of our cabin ended up collapsing over the last couple of years, so this summer we decided to rebuild that part of the cabin. This was really fun as half of my friends go to NC and we don't get to hang out that much. At the lake, we went tubing, swam, climbed the tall beach which I forgot its name, and went cliff jumping. I’ve never been cliff jumping but my friends had and they said it would be fun, so I decided to do it. We started off on small cliffs( about 10 feet) then we decided that we wanted to jump off the really big cliffs. This cliff was a long swim there and a long swim back. Knowing this, my friends and I decided to go. We swam a long way to get there. Once we were there, we were all out of breath and needed to take a breather for 10 minutes. Once everyone was back to normal we started walking up the cliff side to get to the big cliff( about 30ft). Everyone was scared to jump so i went first. It was really scary before i jumped, but once i jumped it all went away and it became all shock. Everything felt like it was slow motion while I was in the air. Then I hit the water and everything became normal again. Everyone else jumped after knowing I was ok, then we had that long swim back but it was easier because of the adrenaline that made me not feel exhausted from swimming. About 20 minutes later my ear started hurting really bad, I wasn't sure why. Later that night when I got home, I tried all sorts of things to help my ear such as, heating the pad to my ear, laying down on the side that my ear hurts
