Personal Narrative: My Trip To Bradenton Beach Florida

One of my most favorite memories is from last summer when my parents and my three teenage siblings, and I took a trip to the Gulf of Mexico. We spent the weekend at a vacation home in Bradenton Beach Florida. First, we started out our trip by each of us packing what we would need for the weekend and loading it up in the truck. Next, while my dad was connecting our boat, my mom told us kids to bring our ear buds, phones, phone chargers, and a pillow to prepare for a very long and boring trip. Then, we stopped at McDonalds for breakfast before we got on the road, because my mom did not want to deal with hungry, angry teenagers on the trip. My younger brother forgot his deodorant, my older sister forgot her toothbrush, my younger sister forgot her swim suit, and I forgot socks which are not really an essential item. I really do not know how we forgot so many items, considering that my mom gave us multiple reminders and even gave us a check list. I am pretty sure the vacation started out a little stressful for my mother, but she had a backup plan to stop by a store along the way to pick up any needed or forgotten items. As anticipated, the travel time was long and boring. In fact, it took us two hours longer than expected due to heavier traffic once we came closer to the beach. It seemed like the closer we came to our destination, the slower the traffic. I guess the travel experience could have been worst though. I mean my family could have been more annoying, but luckily for me, I had my ear buds and phone with ITunes and my favorite game, Clash of Clans, which made it easier for me to ignore them. It also helped time to pass a little faster. Luckily, we made it in one piece and without any major
