I walked in the sweltering summer heat as the Florida breeze hit my face. I walked into the big gates and breathed in the warm summer air, and I looked to my parents and said, “Wow, we are really here.” The smell of the cotton candy and the Mickey Mouse shaped balloons caught my attention when I first walked into the park. It was like a fairy tale story. I saw everything that I imagined as a child. I remembered seeing Cinderella waiving at the park goers, and Mickey and Minnie greeted us as we walked into the park. There was a parade starting when we passed the train that circled the park and there was a line of people dancing to the beat of Disney songs playing throughout the park. I saw many adults acting like kids again and kids being kids. This was the happiest place on earth. When I first arrived at the Magic Kingdom, I was welcomed to the park by front gate greeters, and I also had the opportunity to take …show more content…
The first ride I went on was “It’s a small world ride.” This ride is one of the most popular rides at Disney and it has been at the park for over 40 years. Whenever I went to Disney World, this was the first ride I always went on. The wait for this ride was always long, but it goes by very fast because of the multiple boats that went back and forth taking people through the cultures of the world. When I got on the boat, I was first taken through the many dances of the children of Western Europe, Eastern Europe, The Middle East, Asia, Africa, Antarctica, South America, and Australia. I went through the ride listening to the classic anthem of world peace in the different languages. After the ride, I learned the meaning behind the ride and it was that we are all the same no matter what part of the world we are in. At the end of the ride, it showed the friendship and happiness between the children around the
It was the summer of 2012 and my family was taking another trip to Six Flags Great America. Earlier that summer we went just for me to be disappointed. At the time I wasn’t 54 inches yet and couldn’t ride any of the rides that I wanted to because they were the most popular at the amusement park. But, I hit a growth spurt between trips and we planned to ride all of the big rollercoasters. The one that I was most terrified of at the time was Raging Bull, one of the tallest, fastest, and longest steel coasters in the US. As we started to wait in line for the ride I was shaking with both anticipation and fear and began to rethink my idea to ride the rollercoaster. I decided to stay in line and see what many people thought was a great coaster.
What comes to mind when you hear the word adventure!!? Well there is a place in Florida that is guaranteed to bring out your inner kid every time you visit. This place is known as universal Orlando Florida. This is a place where you can go on vacation and have fun like never before as you did when you were a kid. On my visit to Orlando I stated at a four-star resort located inside the theme park known as Cabana Bay Beach Resort, also went to universal studios and islands of adventure were I felt like I was a kid again.
We went back to our room after we finished at Epcot. It had gotten up to ninety degrees outside, and we were exhausted. It was a thrilling experience to see all my favorite places again in Epcot. I can’t wait to come back and relive this experience again. This place is something I will never forget.
When we left the hotel, my parents had a tough time finding the theme park. There were so many overpasses and lanes, my dad missed the exit a few times. Luckily, my dad finally got off at the right exit. When we first arrived, I was so excited. I had never seen so many seen so many people in one place, and the climate was very different compared to El Paso. I remember listening to the roars of the roller coasters and the screams of the people on them. We finally got into the park. As we entered, I remember it being very humid and moist. There were so many different smells coming from the restaurants.

The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the
Ever since I was a child, my family and I have been Disney fanatics. The Disney empire has created many amazing places, but my favorite location to visit is the Walt Disney World Resort. Every day 50,000 people from all over the world arrive at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida to experience the magic. When the park first opened its gates in 1971, 10,000 visitors made their way through. That number has multiplied five-fold and continues to multiply to this day. Since the 1971 opening, over 600 million people have experienced the magic of Disney. In my lifetime, I have visited the park with my family and friends six times. Each visit lasted four days in order to experience all the parks and their unique offerings. When I’m in Disney World, the experience each time is incredible.
Disney world is a place designed for uncountable amounts of excitement and making memories. I had an unforgettable experience, because of the beauty of magic Kingdom, the Heart arousing of Bush gardens, and the almost unreal sites of universal. I will never forget the time I had on senior trip, and I hope visit again
The history behind Disney World is nothing short of amazing. During the planning stages of Disney World Walt bought up acres upon acres of property in the Orlando/Kissimmee area secretively. Walt also worked hard on making Disney world the most immersive place he could that everyone could enjoy, such as whole families, friends, school/work groups, and individuals alike. Walt refused to leave anyone out of the world he was building. Mostly, Disney World is marketed towards children and every adults inner-child. He wanted a place where you could completely forget your real life, work, and stress and come into a world of fun, enjoyment, and
When Walt Disney first came up with the idea to create an amusement park it had seemed impossible. To make a place where children and their parents could both have fun and enjoy each others company. So many complications stood in their way with finding a space big enough to build the park and an awful opening day. People never thought it would last. But Walt knew that he had created something great that people now go their to make memories with their families. It 's not nicknamed “ The Happiest Place on Earth” for nothing.
This was actually my first time flying in an airplane, so I was pretty excited to fly in an airplane for the first time. So I was looking forward to this ride just to see my grandma like that. The ride itself was more of a sit and see ride. We sat on a boat, and it would move slowly so we could see all of the little figurines from the different cultures move and dance.
My palms were sweaty, I was a nervous wreck; should I go or not? Just the thought of people dying at Six Flags gives me the chills. Falling off a ride and slowly coming to your death. Even though I was at Six Flags who would have thought that I would have to make such a tough decision about a ride.
Everyone who has ever been to Disney World thinks it’s going to be the vacation of a lifetime but when we went it was the vacation from Hell!
The second I stepped foot onto the amusement park’s property, I could feel the magic swirling all around me. As I walked through the crowds of people young and old wearing Disney apparel and Mickey Mouse ears, everything seemed so enchanting: the cheerful music, the twinkly lights on all of the buildings, and the stores that could have been from my favorite Disney movies. Walking along the streets, I took pictures of everything around me because I did not want to forget a single detail; I took pictures of the vibrant yellow, red, and pink flowers that lined the streets, the buildings with intricate details and designs, and the massive roller coasters that glided so swiftly on their tracks. The air was filled with heavenly scents of sweet churros, and I had to get one; it was delectable. Everything at Disneyland seemed perfect and like it was out of a movie. Even as I was about to leave, I got drawn back in; spectacular, bright, colorful fireworks started bursting right over my head, and I could not bring myself to go. My first visit to Disneyland was truly enchanting and magical. At the time I thought no other vacation could
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
