“Yawwn!” I stretched his arms and tried to pull myself up. Only I couldn’t, “hmmmm,” I said out loud to myself. “It seems as if I can move from side to side but not up. I wonder if I can move downwards.” I turned and saw that I was on the floor, but I wasn’t on the floor of my house. I was on something that looked like silver dust. I found something next to me that looked like a Fitbit tm. I picked it up (or across) there was a sticky note on it that said. “Hello, newcomer if you are here that means that you have gotten here correctly. Press the button to create a gravity sphere.” I looked at the Fitbit-like thing and pressed the button. I realized that I was able to get up again. I saw that the note said bubble so I took it

Changing places can be very difficult sometimes. Starting a life in a different place that you might not be used to or just living a different lifestyle. I went through that phase many times. The first time was because something that had a big impact in my life happened. My mom and dad gotten divorced. It mostly affected me because I was the oldest and had much more memories with my dad than my brother and sister.
“I was at an exercise convention with my mom,” she said.“We were staying at a hotel and we had done four exercise classes and I was tired but my mom was still rearing to go. So, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m just going to sit in the room and relax and take a nap.’ I was in the room, I was watching T.V., I was really tired and it’s almost like I was in a state of hypnosis. I didn’t notice I was [pulling out my...
While in the hospital, Maria went into cardiac arrest, which prevents blood flow to the brain, and had an out of body experience (Beauregard, 4). During her OBE, Maria claims to have been able to “look down from the ceiling and watch the medical team at work” (Beauregard, 4). In addition to floating above her body, Maria stated that she floated through the wall and to the outside of the hospital where she saw “a tennis shoe on the ledge … one of its laces was stuck underneath the heel and the little toe area was worn” (Beauregard, 4). Maria’s tale supports Beauregard’s claim because after her surgery a social worker was able to locate the shoe and confirm the details of Maria’s story. Moreover, this OBE once again proves that the mind/soul can continue to function without the aid of the brain or
You are lying in bed taking a much-needed nap. You have had a long day and this little refresher is just what you need. You are slowly becoming awake and aware of what is going around you. You can hear someone in the kitchen cooking and through the open window by your bed you can hear the sounds of the kids of the neighborhood jumping rope and playing hand games. You can even hear Old Mrs. Jones yelling at Little Johnny for running all over her flowers. You have been sleeping for about an hour and you feel that it is about time to get up. So you open your eyes, or at least you think you do. For reason some they are not open. So you think to yourself, "That is odd, I thought I mentally told my eyes to open?" So you try again, and this time you hear your voice in your head say, "Eyes open;" but again nothing happens. Now you think maybe you are really out of it, and that you must be extremely tired and just need to rub your eyes a little to get them moving. So next you try to move your arm, only it is stuck. Then you realize that your entire body is stuck. You think that this situation has to be unreal. You are awake; you have to be. You can obviously think to yourself, and you can hear everything that is going on inside and outside, but why are you not moving? You try to open your mouth and call for help, but you cannot do that either. You are completely paralyzed! Then you start to think this that is some sort of nightmare-and it is, except it is very much real. You are experiencing sleep paralysis.
My mother, me and a man in a suit step into the elevator. The next bit was oblivious, now I’m sitting in a chair getting poked and prodded. We leave just around one-thirty, are next plan is to check out this apartment. Sure enough it takes roughly about forty-five minutes. We turn left onto a road with cars passing bye and stores and building complex’s.
As I laid my curious, four year-old eyes upon a mysterious button, I could hear it calling to me. “Press me. Come on. Do it.” Unable to resist the temptation, I pressed it to find a little compartment slide out of the side of my walkie talkie with a tiny man inside. He smiled, waved, and then slid back into my toy in order to operate it. Completely taken by surprise, I was unable to react. Immediately afterwards, I scrambled to press the button again. I had so many questions to ask the strange man. How does he live in my walkie talkie? Does he ever come out? Are there 2-inch tall men in each of my toys? Before I could find the button again, I woke up. Remembering the dream vividly, I was struck with curiosity. I always assumed that my walkie talkie carried my voice to its twin just because it was in its nature to do so, but after I had that dream, I started to wonder about what really made my toys and other devices function.
Moving is lots of work took me 4 days to pack and 5 to get everything from one house to the new house in Firestone. It was an extremely sad day when we moved because we have lived in that house for 10 years and have had so many memories like when i had my first sleep over i went down the stairs in a pillowcase and broke my hand and the time my sister did a cartwheel down the stairs and broke the railing and my dad was so hostile and frustrated. The part that made me so hostile is when people had to come to the house and look at the home very cautiously i could not be in the house at all i had to leave and and be out of the house of half an hour with my 1 year old brother. It's extremely stressing to have a little brother that but I admire
I woke up and Chiyo hugged me and then went into a long talk about everything that happened after I passed out. As she did this, I went and changed into my uniform. After I changed we walked to class. "And you were right about her alice! Sometime I wonder how you're so smart!" I looked at her and she smiled. We walked into class. Everyone looked at me as I sat down. I looked out the window before standing up and walking out the doors. I quickly walked to the field and opened my hand and alice activated. Electricity currents covered me and I smiled before closing my hand cutting it off. I heard clapping and quickly looked behind me to see Natsume. He looked at me and walked over and looked at me. He spoke, "Are you limited?"
One step left to climb and now it is time to open the loud, creaky screen door. I open it slowly hoping it does not make any noise. Luckily, the big door is already open and my parents are not in sight. I scurry over to the big blue chair in the back of the living room. I am scared of what is going to happen next, so I sit on the floor behind the chair hoping for some time to think of an excuse on why I am wearing glued on three inch fake nails.
As I wake up strapped to a thing of wood in the pitch black dark wondering what is happening and what to do to get out of it. I hear some strange sounds coming from right by my hands. It’s a bunch of rats trying to eat the food my captures left me before they kill me. I hurry, in instinct to grab the food and start to eat it. As i'm eating this small piece of food I hear and see a pendulum swinging above me lowering every time it goes back and forth.
My perspective has changed from the first moment I entered the class, to my last moments departing class. I feel inspired and motivated. The knowledge accumulated from doing the assignments had real world application. I must professed with certainty that every assignment completed improve my chances in the workforce. Being a nontraditional student I had my doubts about finishing the class with a solid grade. But the schedule proposed by you, Professor Vaughn was excellent.
An endless space of alternating sleepiness, awakening, drifting, silence and darkness were wrapping me few moments ago. “What is happening to me?”, I wondered silently while shocked by my suddenly tilting universe. I tried to react with any movement just to give a signal of life, a scream for help but I simply couldn’t.
Today, I decided to explore the basement. I opened the door and walked down the stairs. As my feet hit the creaky steps, my heart was beating a mile a minute because of what I might find. Once my foot hit the hard ground, I turned my head to see a big, bulky machine right in front of my eyes. It was quite long and dirty, like it was untouched for many years.
