Max the Hero It was cold outside which was a shock because Hawaii was always hot even in the winter. Jessica was waiting inside her old red brick house for a robot she ordered online. He was 4 feet tall and the average weight of a 23 year old boy. He has eight legs just like Dante 2. Also like Dante 2 he can go in to volcanoes and roll through water. He has a teal blue shirt his eyes are a caramel brown. He even has hair on his head, he is supposed to look 23 just like Jessica. His hair is a golden brown. He looks like a normal boy, the robot is programmed to talk and act like a normal boy. Then Jessica herd the sound of a van pull up to her driveway, and she ran as fast as she could to the teal door. The old man that was delivering the package was very slow. “Come on!” she yelled excitedly. The old man gave her the package and was on his way. Jessica ripped her package very fast and the robot looked just like the catalog she saw online. On the side of the box a sign said Max. so she named him Max. Jessica walked inside as she did she felt a breeze blow across her arms, colder than usual. Jessica took Max to the Hawaiian volcano to study.
"Do you like volcanoes?" Jessica

The Hero’s Journey is a basic template utilized by writers everywhere. Joseph Campbell, an American scholar, analyzed an abundance of myths and literature and decided that almost all of them followed a template that has around twelve steps. He would call these steps the Hero’s Journey. The steps to the Hero’s Journey are a hero is born into ordinary circumstances, call to adventure/action, refusal of call, a push to go on the journey, aid by mentor, a crossing of the threshold, the hero is tested, defeat of a villain, possible prize, hero goes home. The Hero’s Journey is more or less the same journey every time. It is a circular pattern used in stories or myths.
Joseph Campbell studied ancient greek mythology for many years. Joseph filled each stage of the journey very well. He accepted all the challenges he got and all the help he needed. He really knew how to fulfill all those stages. Like everyone goes through a heroic journey everyone has to have a story to tell. My story is very contrasty from Joseph’s because he really knew what all the stages meant. My hero's journey consists of my threshold crossing which was when I started depending on myself more than I did on others, my helpers/mentors like my parents, teachers,my sister and many more influential people in my life and my rewards were getting awards in school, having a nice family, and many friends.
It was 2 months after Auggie’s graduation and everyone was getting supplies for the new school year at beecher prep. As everyone walked to their homeroom Auggie saw his best friend, Jack Will.
It doesn't get simpler. It won't get simpler. It's been 12 years since he passed yet despite everything it hurts as it did the second I discovered. I wish I could do a reversal so as to that morning. I woke up and discovered him at the table, written work. God, that is whatever he did. He composed and composed and composed. I would read his works for whatever is left of my life just to feel somewhat nearer to him once more. I attempted to induce him to return to bed, however he cannot. He guaranteed me he would be back soon. He assembled it a conference. Why wouldn't he be able to be straightforward with me? Alex never preferred duels. He preferred not to get included in any. Why did he get included in this one? I detest Burr. He ought to have known Alexander could never shoot him. He ought to have known not to do it. He ought to have realized that the world was sufficiently wide for them two. Why didn't he realize that?
12 Aug 1962. One year to the day, Anton and Josef disappeared around that alley corner. At high noon a loud commotion originated from the west. It didn’t matter where you were in the city or on which side; everyone could heard the clear exaggerated honking from automobile horns pressed hard in a synchronized protest of the wall.
“Yes I did because you deserve it,each of your brothers got there own car and so do you.Ellie you lifted the family up when your father died and I can’t thank you enough.”
It was time, me and my friend Kayla ran to Kingda Ka the world's tallest roller coaster! We were at Great Adventure, in the Golden Kingdom section, where some of the animals are kept. We were there for one thing and one thing only, a roller coaster! Kayla shouted, “Here we come Kingda Ka” and off we went!
It was the 26th of March, and we had excitedly, albeit wearily, arrived; concluding twelve excruciatingly long hours of travel. However, my father and I had one thing in mind, to land a powerful saltwater game fish. Despite the previous year in Hawaii where we had caught only miniscule lizard fish, we were determined to change our fishing fortune in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico.
Cense the cold times in January little Cassi had been helping me with books and being like my best friend and it was nice. I told her stuff that I hadn't told anyone. Then one day she told me that she had a real nice surprise for me. She also said that she found it in the woods but I didn’t mind. I was just so happy that Cassie was so sweet and got me something. As I watched Cassi step into the dry gully then to the bank I was getting tired of walking. “It ain’t far. You need to see this.” So I ran as fast as I could loosing my balance. As we started walking again I felt lost. “You sure it's this way, little Cassie?” “Not to much farther. There it is.” We walked into a dark little spot with vines every where in the
It was my turn for guard duty today. I head for our boarders and since I was the first one here like always I pull out my journal and finish my report on the maple tree. I'm a real fan of how nature works and why certain things occur. I laugh to myself as I remember the movie Avatar by James Cameron." What's so funny?" said a gruff voice. I look up to see Lloyd smirking down at me. I rolled my eyes as I stood up to face Lloyd. He smelled like honey almond once again I pushed pass him and walked towards my station. "Oh come on sweetie don't be mad" Lloyd said teasingly. I turned toward him and gave a fake smile. He walked towards me but I had turned around. I felt his hand wrap around my waist and I was pulled to his stone hard chest. “Lloyd get off of me" I said quickly. Lloyd
At various points in history, I, the explorer have appeared on numerous occasions all as different personalities. I am highly motivated and as thrill seeking as a comet. I love to travel at maximum velocity seeking out dangerous and exhilarating events. I am expeditious, I am worthy, I am strong, I am legendary, sometimes I can be absolutely mad, but despite all of my personality traits; I am natively known as the explorer. I seek adventure in new or unfamiliar areas, whether it be the deepest and the darkest parts of space and time, or perhaps something beautiful. I am always prepared for a challenge and will go to phenomenal lengths making sure I use my time wisely, because may I remind you; that the clock is not our friend.
Dr. D is a cardiothoracic surgeon. He was my hero. He may well still be, even though he is a throw-back to the days when I was more concerned about science than symbolism.
His name was Aden, and he was about 7 years old. He had messy brown hair and excited blue eyes. As soon as he saw the lonely puppy, he smiled. “Mom! Dad!” he called. “There’s one puppy left!”. The puppy recognized this boy from earlier in the day. He had picked the puppy up and said, “I want to take you home. I’ll be right back.”.
After just two hours, our very large friend said he’d had enough for the day and was heading for the surface. We told him we’d be out in a few more minutes and to hang around so we could discuss what we’d found. As we began our ascent toward the entrance, we became acutely aware of the complete absence of light the entrance usually emanated. When our flashlights finally found the source of the unusual darkness we were horrified; the big guy was stuck in the cave’s opening again. This time Scott’s head and shoulders were outside, so instead of being able to pull him through, we would have to try to push him out of the opening. We pushed in every combination of ways possible, and needless to say it did not work this time. The paramount problem was that the cave floods from the interior out, so we would all drown if we couldn’t get Scott unstuck, and unstuck quickly.
