The term ‘sorority woman’ always comes with negative stigmas that all sororities do is drink or that sororities are just paying for their friends, but being a part of Alpha Sigma Tau has changed my life. As a freshman, I was self-conscious and unsure of myself, so when I went out for recruitment on a whim, the whole time I thought for sure that no sorority would want me. But, when I got my bid to Alpha Sigma Tau, I knew I found my home and my sisters. However, I did not know how much this organization would shape every aspect of my life. I have gained bonds with my sisters that will last forever and the support this sorority has for me, and each other, helps build my confidence every day.
