Know Since you don't seem to be intersted I will leave you to what you are doing. She said,"wait hold on".The guy looked at the little girl in a sagacious way, and he was calm and his tone of voice seemed collected in a very wise way.So as I was saying I wanted to offer you an invisibility clock."What is that going to do"?,she said, "its not like I am I have been charged of a felony and I need help looking for a hiding place or some sort ."Listen my darling",says the Guy ,"so I wanted to give You an invisibilty clock that would protect you from the rain shower".She couldn't believe what she was hearing ,so she took the clock and thanked him for his generousity. …show more content…

The strange man wearing old dirty clothes picked the child up and threw him in the trunk. All of a sudden he slammed the trunk and grabbed the other two girls and threw them into the backseat of his car. He got in the front seat, turned around, and said, “If you say a word I will get out, I throw you in a ditch, and drive away.” The girls said nothing and he started driving down the interstate in his green Ford. He pulled off on a gravel road and drove a few miles, on the right of the road was a hitch-hiker. When Mr. Shiftlet pulled up next to him the boy said, “Hello sir, would you mind taking me to Brewton, Alabama? It’s only 64 miles away, I won’t bother you I

I had just turned eleven and received a book, Eleven by Lauren Myracle, from my mother as a birthday gift. As I opened the page and read the first line I immediately had an overwhelmingly bubbly feeling. The sheer coincidences made me feel like that book was written with me in mind. I read on and on non stop for the rest of the day because how could I turn away from a book that was hypothetically written about me. It expressed my pre-teen drama, things only an eleven-year-old would consider drama and it inspired me. It gave me the sudden urge to pour my heart into the little mini books I was known for writing and leaving around the house. Writing was something that I was very passionate as a little girl and is still something I am very passionate about as a young adult. The little things I did in my childhood
As a young child in elementary school, I struggled in the regular classes of language arts and math, and this caused my teachers to put me into Special Education. I recall hearing the regular students call me “stupid” all the time behind my back. When I had my regular classes in Social Studies or Science none of the other students wanted to be my partner in the group projects. I felt like an outcast, and my self-confidence was exceedingly low. However, I knew that I was not the smartest kid, but I was a hard worker. I begged my mom to help me convince the teachers to allow me to to join the regular classes in the 5th grade. Fortunately, my teachers agreed, and in my regular language arts class I was motivated to prove to my teachers, my classmates,

We decided that rather than walking down the road we would just wait where we were. After a half an hour went by we began to get concerned as to where Aimee’s parents were. I checked my phone only to realize that I had no service. We began to walk down the road until I had a connection. I called Aimee again. She explained that they had the road blocked off from traffic for the event and that they could not drive up there to get us. With our broken spirits we carried on down the road, hoping we were heading in the right direction. After an extremely long walk we started to hear traffic. It was the highway! With excitement we hopped over the traffic barricades. We could see the starting line where we had taken off from many hours before. While walking down the highway a man on a four wheeler pulled up along the side of us. He was working for the trails festival and was concerned that we were the runners who had been lost. We told him we were and he offered us a ride back to the festival. With frustration in our voices we told him we would just continue walking, since we had just walked for miles
Goldie Locks is a little girl who was wondering around the woods one afternoon when she started to get tired and looking for shelter, as Goldie Locks finds a house in the middle of the woods. Then Goldie Locks has this crazy idea of breaking into this house and looking around, as she looked around she started to get hungry. When she got hungry she looked around for food and then found three bowls of soup on the table and as she started to eat the first bowl she spit it out because it was too hot so she went to the next and did not like it because it was too cold then when she got to third bowls it was just right. After she ate she got bored and then sat in the bear's seats in the living room the first seat she sat in was too soft and she sunk in it, the next seat she sat in was too hard and uncomfortable, the last seat she sat in was once and just perfect. After she sat there for awhile she started to get tired and then she found the bed and tried them out and once again like the soup and the chairs one was uncomfortable, the other was hard, and the last one was just right for her. When Goldie Locks fell asleep the bears came home and found that someone has eaten their soup, sat in their chair, and they got to the bedrooms and saw that Goldie Locks was sound asleep in one of the beds. When Goldie Locks woke up she got startled to
Invisibility in Invisible Man & nbsp; Invisibility is usually taken to the extreme effect of truly being transparent, unseen by anyone and is often depicted in society as the hero, going behind the enemy's back to complete his mission. In Ralph Ellison's The Invisible Man, this view of invisibility is turned around so that a man is in plain sight of everyone but due to a lack of observation nobody recognizes what he accomplishes. After beginning the novel as a man who stays quietly out of the way by doing what he is told, he is forced to leave and mold his "power" into another use. This change puts him now into a position in which he most relates to society's concept of invisibility, one who fights for fairer rights with still no one taking notice of him. Our nameless hero takes us on a journey that extends both concepts of an invisible pacifist and aggressor. & nbsp; The first "form" of our main character that we see is an anxious college student who only wishes to please his superiors and do as they ask.
Noah was dirt biking down the road. It was his favourite hobby. He was going around a corner and lost his balance and fell. He was a really clumsy person. Then when he looked to his right he saw a girl jogging, as she jogged past him she helped him up and asked if he was ok. He said ‘I'm ok, thanks though.’ Then she said i’ll maybe see you around and handed him her number and jogged off at a faster pace. It was a great summer afternoon when Bernard was playing lacrosse with his best friend and his neighbor. At three o'clock they all went home. The doorknob turned Bernard was completely sure of it. His heart was pounding so fast he thought he was having a heart attack. The floor started cracking on the other side of the door. He wanted to run, but since he wasn’t very fast he opened the door. He looked up, down, right, and left. He saw nothing. Then he heard the door creak behind him. He turned around nothing again. He heard footsteps running and he saw a shadow go behind the stairs. He yelled, “Who are you?” No response so he yelled again. Still nothing. He looked around and as he was looking the intruder started running. Bernard started running. He told to the person intruding, “you better stop or I’m going to call the police!” When the intruder didn’t stop Bernard called the Police and said, “please send ...

Peter’s mother was out in the car already, honking on the horn, as they were running really late. It was all Peter’s fault as he had turned the alarm clock off to charge up his mobile phone and then failed to reset the alarm. Peter accidentally slammed the front door behind him, made the front glass windows rattle and shake noisily in their frames. To make matters worse, as he raced down the driveway he knocked over a beautiful potted azalea on the way. His mum was really annoyed and told him to take more care next time and to buckle up quickly. Next, he realized he had left his lunch on the kitchen counter but did not want to make his mother even more annoyed with him. So off they went. Half way to school he felt brave enough to declare his forgetfulness and asked if he could have some lunch money. He said he would buy something from the canteen. Mum said she only had fifty dollars in her purse so he was told to take that and bring the changes home.
Everything for a year had been leading up to this point and here I was in the middle of the happiest place on earth in tears because my friends had abandoned me in the middle of Disney on the senior trip.
