Are You Serious? Today has been one of the most stressful, most fun, and most hectic days of my life. The day started normal. I got up, got ready, and went to school. The day was going good. I got to school on time, I got everything done for my senior experience, and tonight is the Laurens vs. Clinton football game. Second block is my internship, but today I did not have to go because it was Friday. My friends and I were waiting around for something to do until the pep rally that was later in the day. We decided to go to Presbyterian college and get some Starbucks because we had time to kill. I volunteered to drive the crew. How much better could this day get? It was Friday, I got out of school earlier than usual, I got to get Starbucks, and …show more content…
He picked us up and took us to the gym where I asked McCarthy where I could get some gas. I figured the maintenance guys had some gas but they had a truck broken down also, go figure. McCarthy happened to have some gas in his garage. So back into the car Zack’s we went. We went to McCarthy's house got the gas tank and headed back to the school. I had a sense of relief. We got the gas and all we had to do was put it in my car, so I could drive it to the student parking lot. At this time it was about eleven o'clock and the pep rally was about to start. Zack let me and Kalen out for the car, and Claire and him were going to the pep rally. Nothing is ever as simple as it seems. We got out began filling my car with gas. Since I have never ran out of gas before, I did not know how much gas I needed. I went to turn the ignition to see if there was enough gas, but there was a problem. Are you kidding me? I left my keys were in Zack's car. We called Zack a million times but no answer. The only thing we could do was start walking, again. We had only been walking like five minutes when Austin Gardner picked us up. Kalen and I had to cram into his little truck. We got back to the school building and got my keys out of Zack's car. At this time it was around eleven fifteen and the pep rally was about to start. We took a break from our chaos , and entered the loud energy filled gym. Then Michal Marie took me to my car after the pep
Today I have to wake up at 3:30 am in order to be at the factory by 4am. Then I found out that my mother had a cold over night and I have to look after her and do all the washing, cooking and cleaning. By the time I got to the factory it was 4:30. And when Mr. Bob sa...
I woke up Tuesday morning excited for the day I was going to spend with my mom. I was sitting at the kitchen table drinking fresh coffee listening to my mom and aunt tease and joke around about how paranoid my mom was about doing well in her classes, my aunt was telling her that maybe now that I was there, she would relax a little bit and have some fun. Our plan was to go to one of mom's classes with her, and then on a tour of UNC and then we were going to go to dinner and a movie.
As we’re all walking on the pier to look for the bike shop, somehow we got separated. Jada was with me and her phone was dead so either of us can’t call Annel or Kevin. Jada and I then stroll back and forth on the pier to look for them but there was no luck. As we’re walking hastily, I panicked because I don’t know what could have happened to her or Kevin at this crowded beach and her mom trusted her safety to me;
This was BAD!!! I’m Toni Drumwright, a prized member of the San Francisco Coast Guard. Today started with a bang when I was eating lunch and my crew got called in for a rescue in the bay where a raft had turned over. The crew loaded up in the helicopter and we zoomed down to Fernandez Bay. As we got closer, we began to see the victim of the raft crash.
Everyone ordered food except Kelly and I because we didn’t have any money. Because McDonald’s was so close to my house, we decided to ride our bikes back and get money from my dad since he had just gotten home. We got to my house and my dad gave me money for both of us to eat, he even asked if we wanted him to drive us there so we did not have to ride back, but since it was such a nice day we chose to ride our backs back. We then hopped back onto our beach cruisers and headed back towards McDonald’s. We waited at the crosswalk to cross the street. After crossing Cedar Road and heading towards our destination, it was then that Kelly had realized she had dropped her phone at the crosswalk light on the other side of the street, and it was then that my whole life would change in a matter of
Today was a horrible day. Today I become a murderer and my husband learned of my affair. This has to have been the worst day of my life. Today was the hottest day of the year and all the drama made it even hotter. It all started out okay, Tom, Jordan, Jay, Nick, and I were all just relaxing at our place. We decided to go to town and that is when things turned ragged. Jay and Tom got into an argument. I begged them to stop, I couldn't stand hearing them argue. The two men that I love most yelling at eachother. I kept asking them to stop, but I know it was about to get much worse. Next, Jay dropped the the bomb that I had been dreading. He informed Tom of our love. I have always loved Jay, but for a while I loved Tom as well.
On Friday, April 16th My alarm goes off at 6:30 a.m., and I hit snooze for the third time. I can hear my mom yelling at me to get up, but I don’t have any motivation to do anything today. As I stand, I can feel my head pounding. Even though I don’t feel well, I have to go to school because I’ve already had a lot of “sick” days, and prom is tomorrow.
On December 21, 2017 at 2028 hours, Officer Allday and I, Sgt. Wilson responded to 1693 Highway 90 (Fred's Pharmacy) in reference to a Malicious Mischief call.
I just followed those in front of me, nervously wondering how this would all play out as fellow students chattered about how they were missing a physics quiz and how excited they were for the weekend. As we neared the traffic light to cross the street, fire trucks began to pull into the high school along with numerous police cars, all with their lights flashing and sirens blaring. As we began to cross the street, I finally saw a teacher standing by the corner at the traffic
Today was the day my best friend and I have been waiting forever for. Today we go on our day trip to Disney World. We only had 24 hours to be there and enjoy the trip day and night. So we had to make the most out of it. Which is why, while she slept on the plane I made an agreement to myself that we wouldn’t sleep during the entire trip, Just so we wouldn’t waste any time.
The only way Jaszlyne and I would be able to hang out was if we snuck out and lied to both of our parents on where we were both staying, so we told them we were saying at the other’s house. This is one of the two times I have lied to my parents on where I have been. We all went on another drive. The late night, windows down kind of drive. Then it got to be so late out that Jaszlyne and I couldn’t stay at her house, because we would wake her dog and get busted. It was about 3 in the morning and Jake had thought that it would be a good idea to go crash at his step dad’s
I missed a day of school yesterday for my driving test. And holy hell, was yesterday exhausting. It really was, and it I’ve never ever experienced such a hectic day. I had a headache after everything happened. But let me tell you more about it.
The day started out as any other day, but I seemed more excited than I'd ever been. My happiness was radiating off of me. My friend Sean asked, "Seth, why are you so damn excited today?"
Chaos and energy was in the air as the teachers threw bags, with most likely with special things in them, into the two buses. The notorious 8th grade retreat was finally here. Fast forward to the last night, we would have never expected what happened then. We were blindfolded, holding on to each other’s shoulders, listening to the person in front of us to what we should do next as the directions passed down the line. We were all freaking out while Mr. Vaughn told a kid to stay while taking him off the line blindfolded and we went on with the child running behind after he took his blindfold off realizing we left him.
I can remember a few years ago I was ecstatic about one simple yet amazing reason and that one reason was that my family and I were about to get a puppy . I was incredibly happy for that one simple reason and yet I felt like the excitement was overwhelming and it would eventually cause my head to inflate and fly away . Having a puppy was great he made the atmosphere around us feel nice and warm almost like a warm hug or a nice cup of hot chocolate . He was great and I can still remember the nice times we had but sadly liked most good things they only last for a small amount of time and there was no exception with / of / to us . It was a semi cloudy day but you could still feel the warmth of the sun it was a perfect blend of warmth and wind
