I missed a day of school yesterday for my driving test. And holy hell, was yesterday exhausting. It really was, and it I’ve never ever experienced such a hectic day. I had a headache after everything happened. But let me tell you more about it. I woke up around 8 o’clock and headed out to practice my driving with Mom. We drove all around, going back and forth from village to village. But I spent most of my time driving around Susupe, mostly in Mount Carmel’s parking lot. I practiced all kinds of parking. And even lots of hair pulling and grunts. I drove to the BMV for preparation of how to enter and exit the building which I know I’ll have to do when I’m being tested. I went past the BMV and did a full stop at a stop sign, (which, of course, any vehicle has to do a stop at.) when all of a sudden, I heard a loud thump at the back of my rent-a-car, causing it to roll a bit forward even when I stepped on the brakes. I panicked, thinking it was my fault, although, my told me it was the vehicle behind me. An elderly man exited a Nissan Murano and started apologizing about the minor accident. Mom was furious and didn’t accept any excuses. She instantly told me to call 911 to ask for help. But as usual, taxi cabs and pizza deliveries arrive faster than the po-pos. An Officer Kwon arrived at the scene. It took almost two hours until everything was resolved, and then we left. Afterwards, we went to the rent-a-car to get the Chinese man to sign the back of my student permit. As soon as he saw it, he started yelling about how he wants nothing to do with it and that he won’t sign. Mom and I just shrugged him off and turned around, heading back to the car. It was a good thing, I called the taxi early so when the altercation has gotten worse, we just left the shop, with a couple “fuck you’s” heading our way. I yelled at him too before I got into the car. I really wanted to rearrange his damn face, but that would probably cause some extra charges. If the guy didn’t have a damn registration on his car, I don’t think he has some insurance for that fucked up face of his. Mom cried to the taxi driver about how frustrated she is.
