It was a Friday night, and my friends, Ryann and Josh, and I were traveling to Nashville, Tennessee for a country music festival. We were in St. Louis when I remembered the traffic being really heavy, and Josh was our driver. Josh was very prohibitive with his driving, considering he had two other people in his car. Ryann suggested that he should get into his right lane, but he told her no. He said that we are prone to get into an accident if we switched lanes, so he was obstinate with his idea. All of a sudden I remember hitting the dash and being knocked out cold. I woke up to the sound of Josh’s voice, and Ryann shaking me telling me to wake up. I looked around and saw varied cars that crashed and were abandoned. I still had no idea what was …show more content…
The sun was going down and it started to get a little chilly. I look down at my leg and see blood just gushing out and squirting everywhere. Josh suggested that he should cut my leg off below the knee. At the point, I thought I was going to die so I said, “Go ahead, do what you need to do Joshua.” The last thing I remembered before passing out was Ryann throwing up because she abhors the site of blood. I then woke up to the smell of fish. I heard Josh say to Ryann, “girl I feel bad, Jade loves to fish and she missed out this time.” I then asked Josh if I could have some since I hadn’t eaten all day, and I didn’t know when the next time I would eat again. While eating, I looked down at my leg and saw a stick tied to what was left of it. Now this was my new leg to walk on. Since I had to walk on a stick, I was restrained from running as fast as my friends. The end of my leg where Josh cut it off started to wither and it looked gross. Ryann is a very benevolent person and felt compassionate for me since I lost part of my leg. Josh is also a benign person and felt really bad. I told them both not to worry and be thankful that I was still
It dawned on me that I couldn’t be moved because the pain was too great, and I had already lost so much blood that it would be a matter of time before I would lose too much. I had finally come to realization with my
I woke up with a sharp pain in my chest and head. Around me was the car, it was wrecked and little to no cars nearby. I racked my brain to remember what happened. I was at home and I needed to go somewhere, I got in the car and started driving. The last thing i remember, was the truck coming towards me. then it all went white. I gasped. "the truck, it hit me and I must of passed out." I checked myself. nothing broken, that's good. My phone was smashed so I couldn't call anyone to tell them that I crashed. My brother, Williams house wasn't far so I would walk there.
With music blasting, voices singing and talking, it was another typical ride to school with my sister. Because of our belated departure, I went fast, too fast. We started down the first road to our destination. This road is about three miles long and filled with little hills. As we broke the top of one of the small, blind hills in the middle of the right lane was a dead deer. Without any thought, purely by instinct I pulled the wheel of the car to the left and back over to the right. No big deal but I was going fast. The car swerved back to the left, to the right, to the left. Each time I could feel the car scratching the earth with its side. My body jolted with the sporadic movements of the car. The car swerved to the right for the last time. With my eyes sealed tight, I could feel my body float off the seat of the car.
On December 21, 2017 at 2028 hours, Officer Allday and I, Sgt. Wilson responded to 1693 Highway 90 (Fred's Pharmacy) in reference to a Malicious Mischief call.
When my sisters asked why the pack lived at a different place mom just said that the den was only for pups being born. It is also used as a way to raise the pups, until they are strong enough to live with the pack. Mom then led us to where the pack was staying and we met all of the other wolves (Wolf). There was one wolf that looked like he was hanging back from the others. Mom said that he was the lowest in the pack because he was different from us and he was also weaker. When I asked how he was different mom told us that he came from the humans and that one of his parents was in a human’s pack. Mom told us not to worry about him hurting us because he knows better.
The next morning my dad took my mom to showcase, and my sisters and cousin stayed at the hotel with me until he got back. I was sleeping on the floor, and I thought it was still dark and when I tried to sit up I hit my head super hard. It turns out I rolled my head under the bed so that’s why I thought it was still night. It hurt very badly!
I was just riding my bike across the street, then LIGHTS OUT! Waking up in pain, then going back to sleep.Waking up very cold on those body carriers taking me to a cold, dark room feeling the pain as if somebody was putting tiny sharp knives in my forehead.
a bath. Then we watched a little more tv together and then my sister and me started packing a bag full of stuff we can do in the car on the way to Texas. When we finished we went to bed and it is like 9:00 at night. In the morning at 4:30 we woke up and we brush our teeth and got into some comfy close if we wanted to or we can stay in pajamas and my sister and me stayed in our pajamas and our dad and mom got into comfy clothes and we packed are car and got blankets and pillows and we got into the car and we left and it was about 5:00.
I woke up, but was I really up, I couldn't see anything but I can hear voices. I can hear the voices of my mom Ashley, my older sister Luna, my dad Ben, and one voice I didn't recognize. The only thing I can remember was seeing a car coming towards me. So I must have gotten in a car accident. And so the voice I heard must be a doctor. I
I felt like I had been hit by a train. My whole body ached, and I was scraped up pretty badly. I looked down at my hands and they were purple from the impact. However, it was my wrist that had very little movement and it looked like a baseball. This made for a night of awful sleep. My whole arm was throbbing and numb, I was so sore that it hurt to walk. The house was silent, everyone asleep, I stared up at the ceiling, reflecting on everything that had happened that night. Early the next morning after everyone was up, we went back out to the neighbors yard to see exactly what it was that I tripped over. It wasn't too hard to find. It was a small black garden fence, which would be completely invisible in the dark. The part of the fence I tripped over was pulled up out of the dirt with the wires stretched from where my shoe had gone through. We tried to fix their fence as best we could so nothing would look out of the ordinary. After it was back in the
All I remembered when I regained consciousness was two men moving me onto a stretcher and into an ambulance. As I left the wreck I remembered seeing broken glass everywhere, both cars were totaled, and my friends’ faces of sadness and confusion. Then, they rushed me to the nearest hospital where they concluded that I had a slightly torn ligament in my knee and a lot of bruising from the impact. In the end, I left the hospital with a huge brace on my leg and crutches. This was so damaging to me because my life revolved around being active. I was so used to playing soccer, working, and playing around with my friends and family. Now for a couple of months, those things will not be a reality for me. After time though, I learned how to go about my day without those specific tasks, and it made me stronger as an individual. My biggest takeaway from my experience was that you should cherish the good things because in an instant they can be gone. Also, I learned that not every day is going to be easy, and sometimes life throws you curveballs. The most important thing is how you respond; that shows how strong you really
I was raised in a strict environment. Most of the time, my mother was at work and I was forced to withstand my grandmother. She saw me as an adolescent at such a young age and treated me like one. That is where my innocence was removed. Luckily, I had school. I was pretty dumb, both academically and emotionally. I was not a social person. I was a kid from Austin and I was new to the people and community. The community was neither bad or good. It seemed like a regular place as no other. Being a person that was blamed for nearly everything, I didn’t speak much. I didn’t socialize often. Eventually, I met my best friend. He understood my situation and we liked games. He actually opened my eyes to the world of gaming. Eventually, I made a few
One day multiple years ago, I was on a trail ride with my mom, my sister, and some family friends, we went to a gas station to get some snacks and I was getting back on my pony and she bolted across a 4-way stop with cars coming from 2 directions. I had no control of her and was scared speech-less.
My story began in February 2010, a fateful day that has since changed the meaning of a “disability” for me. My parents had been involved in a severe car accident that left them both partially disabled. Hearing the doorbell ring at four in the morning, only to see my grandfather brought upon such great shock. I am grateful every single day that they are still alive and with us children, and that they did not suffer more than they did.
Last year I got involved in a massive car accident. It was the most terrified part of life. It was the moment. I will never forget in my whole life. Before, I never realized how people really feel when a car accident happens. But,after this car accident I know what really it felt like. It was the moment. My mind was totally feared of driving. I was crushed by the hot metal and cold dirt of car. I was not feeling my arm,my body was numbed. It was felt like my lower body pressed down with monster force. All I could feel was the noise of car accident ringing in my ear.I was barely able to move my body. I was kept thinking. What my parents going to think about this? Where is my friend John? I looked through the window and saw the cars passing by
