Personal Narrative: A Day At Busch Gardens

It was mid August, the sun was still shining high. You could feel the warm breeze on your back, screams and yells filled the air. We had arrived. A few months before that my Aunt had called and asked if they could come down to Virginia (they live in Rhode Island). We had said “sure” and then that time came. The exact date was August 18th, 2016 and at about 5pm they had came from the airport. Like always with family, we greeted each other, talked about our travels and, just simply enjoyed ourselves. The evening had slipped away and I was just resting in my bed watching Netflix and wondering what we would come to do tomorrow. In a few minutes I fell fast asleep… ...I woke up tired but not. It surprisingly was very calm that day. All the attractions you could go on in almost an instance. We decided on going to the easier rides first to get our adrenaline rushing. As we got off Apollo's Chariot, I had thought we would move on to Griffon next, but my Cousins were persistent and asked if we could go on the one right next to Apollo. Of course I had said, “yes” and forgotten that right next to us was Tempesto. A few moments later I realized what I had done. I thought of asking, “hey guys can we just skip it”. I was so eager to say it but I wanted to keep my word. The line was very short and knowing it was the newest attraction shocked me.
