AHHHHHHH, that’s the sound I’m going to make when I going to make when I go to Six Flags this weekend. In my opinion, I think that Six Flags has the rides the best rides. There’s just one ride that I’m really afraid of. I t’s the biggest and best ride in Six Flags, the ride literally goes all around Six Flags. But I was afraid of the ride, so I said to my mom “Goliath is just one of the rides I’ll never ride.” Beginning It was my birthday and mom had planned for me to go to Six Flags. My birthday is March 21st, it was spring, so it was getting hot outside. I didn’t like it but why not go to Six Flags on a hot and sunny day. I brought some of my friends with me because who wants to be at Six Flags with no one at Six Flags with you. I brought a friend from school named Jeremiah and my cousin named Jeremy. Jeremy slept over at my house and …show more content…
Jeremiah came to my house on the day we went to Six Flags. The car we went in to go to Six Flags smelled disgusting, it was an old car. There was also one ride at Six Flags I was really afraid. Middle Moreover, due to traffic, it took us roughly about 30 minutes to get to Six Flags, when it should’ve took us about 15 minutes. When we got to Six Flags, I was pretty sure that I was going to have fun that I was going to have fun, but when my friends said that Goliath is going to be the main ride we get on, I thought they was on a whole different level. So I fearfully said to my friends “ No I am not riding Goliath, no way” and I was being so honest with them, Goliath is not a ride for me. After riding only one ride at Six Flags, the sun was starting to go away and the sky started to get cloudy. Soon after that, I t began to rain. We had to wait on to ride because all the rides closed, due to the rain. Ending Finally the rain stopped.
My friends still was pressuring me to ride Goliath, so I went ahead and said “fine, I’ll go ahead and give Goliath a try.” There was a long line of people ahead of us trying to ride Goliath, the was so long that some people left the line to ride other rides. The line was 3 hours long, if not, more. When we finally got to the ride, just looking at how big the first drop was, made me want to run away and scream, but I didn’t want to waste 3 hours of my time. As the ride started and we was going up, I was screaming out of my mind, literally. You got to remember that Goliath goes 250 feet high. When we finally got off the ride, there was a little tear that came out my eye, and I’m being so serious with you. I was just glad that I didn’t get killed by that crazy ride. But when we got off the ride I thought it was really fun. Conclusion The experience I had at Six Flags was really fun. I even learned a little lesson in this experience. I learned to never be afraid to do something if you really want to do it. Never be afraid to do something because I’m sure that your going to have a great
experience.
It was the summer of 2012 and my family was taking another trip to Six Flags Great America. Earlier that summer we went just for me to be disappointed. At the time I wasn’t 54 inches yet and couldn’t ride any of the rides that I wanted to because they were the most popular at the amusement park. But, I hit a growth spurt between trips and we planned to ride all of the big rollercoasters. The one that I was most terrified of at the time was Raging Bull, one of the tallest, fastest, and longest steel coasters in the US. As we started to wait in line for the ride I was shaking with both anticipation and fear and began to rethink my idea to ride the rollercoaster. I decided to stay in line and see what many people thought was a great coaster.
Before long I spotted my friends a few feet away and I walked in their direction. I found my 3 friends roaring with laughter, and I couldn’t help but laugh as well. A few hours later we were all piled in the car and Ashley’s parents drove home. We sat in a comfortable silence because everyone was exhausted from all the fun that we had. I smiled to myself in the dark, as I thought about what an amazing story my trip to six flags would make in the
In 2009, my parents and I decided to travel to San Antonio, Texas for vacation. My parents and I have traveled there before, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back. With many places to see and do; my parents thought that we should go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was at this theme park, where something happened that I would never forget.
Six Flags Over Georgia is a theme park containing anything from sweet treats to fun rides. Six Flags provides many activities for all ages. It is not at all uncommon to see famous cartoon characters, such as bugs Bunny, roaming around the park. Olde r children and adults who possess strong stomachs may enjoy riding the various roller coasters available. For example, The Ninja, is my favorite. The Ninja goes up and down steep hills and even loops upside down. Six Flags also has water rides availabl e to keep people cool. My favorite is Thunder river. Last June, I was lucky enough to get caught under the waterfall. Six Flags also has games to play and many souvenir shops. As for the sweets I mentioned earlier, the funnel cakes are absolutely deli cious. I would highly recommend Six Flags as a place to go when visiting the Atlanta area.
People can be very wild when it comes to amusement park and their widespread excitement. Although if you think about it
Amusement and theme parks are filled with joy, adrenaline, and excitement that also always guarantee a memorable trip. Disney world, being one of the most notorious theme parks in the world, is almost like seeing a whole other world. I will never forget my senior trip to Disney world, because of the unreal Magic Kingdom, the adrenaline rush of bush gardens, and the grad bash fun at universal.
We picked the Renegade, an old Wild West themed ride. I was kind-of scared because it was my first time riding a roller coaster. The roller coaster went up very slowly. When we got to the top, the roller coaster shot down really fast and turned slightly so that it felt like you would fall. I was terrified. Looking back in retrospect, the roller coaster is not as scary as it seemed. It was one of the best days of my life!
Oh and also YOU RIDE BACKWARDS ON THIS RIDE!!! I mean what kind of person makes ride where you ride backwards where you don’t know what’s going to happen and makes the ride 10 times scarier!!! That’s just crazy right!? It doesn’t make any sense at all! And when you’re in line they tell you things not to do on the ride like closing your eyes because it makes it even scarier!
On that fateful day in March, I was a couple months shy of my third birthday. My family and I lived in New Mexico at the time and were renting a house with an outdoor in-ground pool. The day was beautiful. I was outside with my oldest sister Rachel and my father. Rachel was diligently reading curled up on a bench that sat against the house, and my father was mowing the backyard. My mother and my other sister were in the house. Off to one side of the house there was a group of large bushes. I was playing over there with one of her large cooking pots, off in my own little world. At one point while amusing and en...
Have you ever been to Disney world? Well they say It’s a place where dreams come true.
First started at Six Flags Over Texas in 1985, it has been slowly rolled out to the rest of their parks, including Great Adventure in 2015 and Six Flags America and St. Louis in 2016. The premise is similar to the widely known Fright Fest, except with special holiday rides and lights everywhere.
I figured this would be the only way to absolve myself of fear. The ride was empty and it was my time to step up and experience what everyone saw as entertaining and I just see as dreadful. I steeped on to the rusty metal and made my way down the side of the ride. I passed a seat that was coated in vomit; so I had no other choice but to sit in the front. My friends came and sat behind me after someone cleaned up the vomit. Realizing I could have sat there filled me with envy. Butterflies filled my stomach and my heart was beating so fast it felt like my chest was going to explode. I looked down at my seatbelt and it didn’t seem very durable, but at least there was a rusty barred door on the side to keep me from falling out of the capsule. I clicked my seatbelt closed and pulled the belt as tight as I could and I held the handle bars so tight my hand started to pulsate and turn
My first experience with a carnival ride was a Ferris wheel at a local fair. Looking at that looming monstrosity spinning the life out of its sardine-caged occupants, I was dumbstruck. It was huge, smoky, noisy and not a little intimidating. Ever since that initial impression became fossilized in my imagination many years ago, these rides have reminded me of mythical beasts, amazing dinosaurs carrying off their screaming passengers like sacrificial virgins. Even the droning sound of their engines brings to mind the great roar of a fire-breathing dragon with smoke spewing from its exhaust-pipe nostrils.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
It was December 4, 2014 and it was snowing outside. I was sitting at the kitchen table doing homework. All my family was downstairs, so I was all alone. My English teacher told us to write a paper about how I am different from my classmates. I was thinking about what in my life makes me different and slowly my whole life was playing like a movie in my head. The first memory that popped into my head was my fourth birthday party. It was supposed to be the best birthday ever. My dad was going to come. It was February 24, 2002 at my birthday party. There were so many people there, but I was so focused on my dad coming, no one else seemed to matter. My cake was pink and yellow with a bicycle on it. I had a red and blue inflatable that kids were
