There are two different types of knowledge, shared and personal. The thing that distinguishes the two the most, is how ready the majority of people are to accept it. Personal knowledge is driven by opinion and the experiences of that particular individual. It is gained by personal experiences and practice and personal involvement and often depends on the particular local circumstances of that individual, whereas shared knowledge relies on a group of people, it is highly structured and it is a product of more than one individual combined together. One of those individuals was John Maynard Keynes, a British economist whose ideas fundamentally changed shared knowledge of economics, the theory and practice of macroeconomics and the economic policies of governments. Keynes created the Keynesian economics theories and he has shaped everyone's mind in the field of economics. Keynesian economics are theories of how in the short run, and especially during recessions, the economic output is greatly influenced by aggregate demand. As an IB student taking economics, I’ve been taught the Keynesian model and his theories, which have now shaped my personal knowledge. My personal knowledge has been shaped because when my teacher taught me the Keynesian theories, I had to learn and understand them. If the whole world is sharing a single detail about a certain thing, for example, that murder is bad, of course, there will be exceptions, like there will be for anything, however from the moment most people are born, they are taught that murder is bad. Since we are taught certain things from the moment we are born, it is hard for shared knowledge not to affect our personal knowledge, since technically our personal knowledge is taken from that shared knowledge and made personal. Even when individuals disagree with that shared knowledge, it has shaped their personal knowledge anyways, because in a way, deep down, they know how others feel, sometimes causing them to feel anger or guilt. John Maynard Keynes, British economist, journalist, was born on June 5th 1883, in Cambridge, England. His father, Dr. John Neville Keynes, was an economist and a philosopher. Keynes attended Eton and then Cambridge University. At first he studied Mathematics but then turned his attention to Economics when he was offered the job at the British treasurer after the First World War when the British economy was at pressure. A man who gained a modicum amount of wealth during 1919 to 1938, married to Lydia Lopokova in 1926 and passed away in April 21st, 1946. Keynes believed that price level has to be stabled in order to have a stabled economy, and that is only possible if interest rates go down when prices rise. He also believed that the market forces alone will not deliver full employment but boosting government spending (main force of the economy in Keynes theory) will aim in his theory full employment or close to that. He believes by Governments intervening and spending will finally stop recession, unemployment and most importantly depression. For spending will increase the aggregate demand of the economy.
Core knowledge is a psychological theory that proposes the idea that children have innate cognitive abilities that are the product of evolutionary mechanisms, called nativism. The theoretical approach of constructivism also includes that children have domain-specific learning mechanisms that efficiently collect additional information for those specific domains. The production of knowledge relies on different ways of knowing, sense perception, emotion, reason and language. The production of knowledge differs from each human being leading to acquiring of personal knowledge and contributing to the shared knowledge. Society also plays a role in influencing the production of knowledge through various judgments that it passes on the manner in which knowledge is produced. Ethics is a set of principles which are morally right and are used to govern people’s actions and on the basis of that judgments are passed, rules made and norms are established. This leads us to the issue : to what extent does compromising ethical judgement lead to useful knowledge in natural science and arts.
Keynesian Economics was developed and founded by John Maynard Keynes. He believed and wrote in his book “The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money” that it is essential for the Government to play a vital role in economic stability. Keynesian theorists believe government spending, tax hikes and tax breaks are vital to economic success. Keynesian assumptions include: Rigid or Inflexible Prices, Effective Demand, and Savings-Investment Determinants. Rigid or Inflexible Prices suggest that wage increases are easier to take while wage decreases hit resistance; likewise, a producer will increase prices yet when needed will be reluctant to decrease prices.

What is the main difference between science and other types of knowledge? The answer to this question is simple: methodology. Science is not the usual techno-electronic and green-blue colored liquids that one perceives when hearing the word “science” but it as simple as a method. Tacit knowledge is often knowledge that has been obtained, but cannot be articulated or communicated to others. Often times, people may not even know they have it or are applying it to their job.
