I am satisfied with what I have become; a student specializing in Physics with special interests in experimental Condensed Matter Physics. I grew up in a very small town. A town not fully developed; there were very few resources and not many quality schools to acquire a solid education. I had to pass an entrance exam to get into a good school for 8th grade at a time when most students in my town would drop out of school after 7th grade in order to search for work and support their families.
My parents could not complete their undergraduate studies because they had to work to support their families, but their emphasis on the importance of education, their dedication and massive effort inspired me to search for the highest education possible. My family has sustained me throughout my education as best as they can.
My high school days made me more independent and resourceful because I had to balance the challenges of commuting three hours daily plus studying in order to earn good grades. I was also an active member in various school activities such as, basketball, badminton, and various community events. I also acted as a leader for my high school basketball team for state level competition. With hard work and continuous dedication, I earned many awards in high school for my preeminent performance in the fields of science. I was one of 30 students, out of 80, who graduated from high school in my class.
Since childhood, I have been drawn to scientific activities and inventions that amaze me so my family and friends have always encouraged me to enhance my intellect by giving me different scientific puzzles, articles and books. With the course of time, I sensed a keen interest in science and decided to choose it as my career. I...

The more I know, the more I seek. My acceptance to your university will increase my wanderlust to go deeper into unanswered questions and unexplored realms. My academic, extra-curricular and, social endeavors have firmly established my trust in the scientific canon. They have helped me appreciate and inculcate the values like quest for knowledge, courage to question, systematic reasoning, open-mindedness and team spirit.
I have been working on experimental research for almost four years now. I believe that a few years from now, my abilities, creativity, effectiveness, hard work, interest, research skills (especially in experimental Condensed Matter Physics) and motivation will enable me to become a successful independent experimentalist and pleased individual.
Atwood takes many of today’s potential scientific developments and illustrates the worst possible outcome of what may happen if we continue the unregulated pursuit of knowledge. In reality, the scientific advances of today will yield a higher standard of living for the majority of the world tomorrow. We will continue to push for the best in everything including science, medicine, and technology; we will not allow any single person to make the sole decision to develop an idea. Scientific progression will save many lives; therefore, it should and will always be there for us.
I had surgery to correct a vision problem, and ear tubes to help with ear infections. By intervening with these issues, contribute a lot to catching up with my peers. My parents, especially my mother, were deeply involved in helping me succeed. She attended meetings, keep informed on my progress, and most importantly was my biggest support system. Even from an early age, I knew how important parental involvement in education was. The fact that people cared about me succeeding, was all the motivation, I needed.
I was raised in an encouraging household where both of my parents greatly valued education. Although they were high school graduates, neither could afford to attend college; a combination of family and financial woes ultimately halted their path. As a result, my parents frequently reminded me that getting a good education meant better opportunities for my future. To my parents, that seemed to be the overarching goal: a better life for me than the one they had. My parents wanted me to excel and supported me financially and emotionally of which the former was something their parents were not able to provide. Their desire to facilitate a change in my destiny is one of many essential events that contributed to my world view.
Recently, I have graduated Berks Catholic High School and prepared to take a first step for my future career. I have always had a strong interest in Science field, especially in Biology and Chemistry. This is related to one of the gifts I have; a curiosity.
This should not be confused with the event that first sparked my interest in science. That happened far too long ago for me to remember, and probably involved some sort of explosion. No, despite my constant interest in the subject and the knowledge of science’s omnipresence and usefulness, I did not truly appreciate it in my life until very recently. The item that brought about this revelation was not anything particularly important – it was a book on chocolate making.
My High School life has helped shape the way for my college experiences that I will face. My senior year in high school is not the same as many other high school students. I am taking many advanced classes to help me prepare for college. These classes help me better understand exactly how much harder I must work to succeed.
I still crave the ability to continue to grow through the sciences, and I know that participating in the AIM program will aide me in my journey of becoming a STEM professional. The vast ocean of knowledge that I am able to receive from the sciences gives me immense motivation; whether I receive it through mentors, teachers, or family. Within science, there is always room for improvement and more that can be discovered, which I find very inspirational. This inspiration pushes me in science and also other aspects of my life to be and become the best person that I have the ability to be.
I am a twenty year old Biomedical Science student of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Since I was very young I was fully amused for nature. I want to be a scientist because the work of a scientist involves curiosity and imagination. I like the process of getting results, establishing relationships between them, wondering about possible explanations, and keep exploring and learning.

An exceptionally eminent faculty, an environment abounded with scholastic activity and a graduate program that beautifully blends the pearls of high-end course work and research facilities at the avant-grade of every field are the attributes that drive my motivation to choose your university for my graduate studies. I can affirm that I possess the basic aptitude, dedication and potential to maintain the aspiration and motivation required for my graduate study. I am certain that the graduate program offered by your University will prove to be the most efficient and effective approach towards my future career. I am convinced that this opportunity will significantly heighten my research expertise, providing me with the essential competence and allowing me to presume my knowledge and potentials to an advanced level.
In the present day, knowledge has become a commodity as its acquirement is always associated with its application in a specific field. The nature of our expanding world seems to be causing us to forget why we began learning in the first place; it was not to train to become an office clerk who is the world champion in spreadsheets, instead, the curiosity of man has always pushed the threshold of knowledge further and further into the unknown, with this, bringing unexpected changes and implications. For this paper, knowledge is defined as knowing something either from personal experience or a third party; however, the definition also includes the understanding of science and any specific technique of achieving something. The definition allows
Right through my school days, I had an acute sense of curiosity behind the true physics of how things worked the way they did. I loved doing Math and Physics was always my passion. I love sports and I spent a lot of time playing sports such as tennis, football, basketball and badminton during my school days. Only during my undergraduate study did I become more focused as the flame within me lit up, enlightening me. I got good grades in ever...
...our questions, we need to work hard to acquire training in learning scientific materials either through a teacher or with our own strive in gaining knowledge. Our modern world is based on science’s role and different aspects of scientific effort to clarify and to shed light to our problematic conditions. More over, as human being, we all want to have a pleasurable enlighten for our doubts or curiosity, nevertheless, we need to realize that, there is limitation to all of these discoveries. We need to consider that scientist always do their best for welfare of human conditions. yet we can’t hid the fact that the world of science is still uncertain an incomplete.
As for science, I have always had a passion for it, always been interested in finding solutions to problems. Whether that be STEM related, people related or otherwise. You give me a problem, most of the time ill attempt to d...
Time flies so fast. Looking back, my high school is just like a movie, a lot of things happened. High School is four years of growing up and probably a time in your life where you go through the most changes. In high school you are able to discover yourself and find out who you are as a person. Each year is special and unique in their own way. My journey through high school was a tough one, especially because I decided to not only focus on academic work but also to invest quality time in extra curriculum activities. I wanted more than just academic excellence; I wanted to be a leader, I wanted to add value to every aspect of my life, I wanted a rounded education and not just mere schooling.
