Ever since I started working out sophomore year I have seen an incredible increase in muscle mass and power intensity. Because of VPE I now work out almost everyday and keep myself physically fit. Proof of this is shown in my fitness scores where as a freshman I started out doing nearly 50 crunches and 10 pullups and I'm now doing consistently 100 crunches and 20 plus pull ups. I have taken a liking to lifting and the gym rat lifestyle. I now consistently take protein supplements and not only does it help with post workout soreness but also improves energy throughout the day. Lately and more recently than ever lifting has become a significant part of my life, my family and I have invested in a bench set curling bar pull up bar and other various lifting equipment, not to mention all the jugs of protein.
To maintain a healthy body & lifestyle I will be required to work all parts of the body such as chest, arms, abs and legs. I will also be required to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system. For test I can do workouts such as bench press, incline dumbbell press and push ups all of which isolate the pectoral muscles for the most part. Leg day can concise of such workouts like leg press, squats, lunges and jump stretch. Which are few of my favorite leg workouts where you really feel the burn and see the gains. Optional body composition and flexibility will come naturally as I continue doing gymnastics. I plan to work out almost everyday other than Sunday which will be my rest day. I see it fair to have two days dedicated to cardio which would probably fall on a Tuesday and Thursday. Mondays are the worst so why not have awesome workout? Chest and arm day on Mondays sounds good to me. What's harder than getting motivated to do a go...

Not only is maintaining a healthy lifestyle very important, but it may be one of the most important things you can do with your life. Your body is the one thing you will have your entire life and you should do your best to maintain it and keep it as healthy as possible. Also not only for the sake of aesthetics but it is important to keep your body healthy in order to live longer. Isn’t everyone’s goal in life to be able to achieve something amazing? Better yet what about setting great goals as an individual? Wouldn’t you like to better yourself as a person? As Arnold Schwarzenegger once said “you can’t climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets”, this simply meaning that a person must be “hungry” and have a great drive to be able to achieve greatness. The feeling of greatness and satisfaction that a person will get from being a healthy, fit individual is unexplainable. Being satisfied with your own body is a very important factor to life itself. People that are healthy are known to live healthy lifestyles as well as to be great in age. There is no negative sides to being healthy, people that are healthy are happy. I plan to take an individual and better them by training them and making them a healthier person. The steps I will go through in order to make this happen are steps such as training the person, making a nutritional plan for them, and being there to support them along the journey. I will be training the person using some fundamentals that have worked for majority of world-class athletes. I plan to use simple bodybuilding tactics as my muscle builder, such as old school techniques that Arnold Schwarzenegger used in the golden ages of the sport itself. As my research has shown, my client and I are both pleased with the “golden era” physiques and we plan to make a healthy/fit body molded like the bodies of that “era”. In this project my client and I have decided to base the “nutritional plan” as a high protein/Low carb diet, which I will release in this paper. Through out this project, it should be well know that this is not an easy sport! And the discipline to stick with it is extre...

People often go through their life working-out and going to the gym to get “buff.” For ninety-five percent of Americans that do work out, few can say that they have pushed themselves as hard as possible, but I have the distinct, and often painful, pleasure of knowing that there is another way to work out. This option is unlike any other that I have ever personally been through; and is a way that I would not wish on any average American. 4:55 a.m. Seventeen degrees Fahrenheit, a mild breeze of ten miles per-hour-- for the fifth day in a row and second consecutive month, it is time for me to wake up, make the face-numbing, core-hardening walk through the snow to the Mildred and Louis Lasch Football Building.
Physical health deals with life choices that can either harm or help the user’s body. My physical health relays around sports such as basket-ball, Soccer, Discus throwing, Shot-put throwing, and weight lifting. My strengths in physical health is my exercising, caring for my body, and avoiding non healthy behaviors. I make sure my body is in athletic shape so I can conquer any athletic challenge in my path of life. My Weaknesses are eating healthy and getting enough sleep. This is due to a busy schedule and family meals. One of my weaknesses in athleticism is my pull ups, I used to not be able to do one single pull up but I’ve managed to do two pull ups at current athletic shape. I am continuing to lose weight of body fat while gaining weight in muscle.

“After 5 months of training I expect to be moderately stronger and more efficient in all areas of activity as well as see a reduction in body fat and an increase in lean body mass.”
Throughout my life, I have always loved physical fitness and athletics. Unfortunately, due to a horrible knee injury at the end of my senior year of high school’s basketball season, my athletic lifestyle came to a screeching halt. Ever since I have gone through physical therapy and gotten back on my feet, I have had the desire to pursue a career in the field of health and fitness and my goal is to become a personal fitness trainer so I may help others reach their fitness goals and teach ways to be active safely and help prevent major injuries. I have always had a love and passion for health and fitness. I have become more sensitive to the importance of exercise and the related issues of nutrition and fitness for the avoidance of injury to the human body. Especially now that I
In today’s society, health and physical condition are emphasized far more than in the past. Fitness centers are being built across the nation providing a place where we can improve our well being. Thousands of Americans are flocking to these health centers to enhance their physical strength. Often times these people are not making the best of their time. They spend hours in the gym and see modest results. The reason for this is they simply do not have a great plan when entering the weight room. They merely show up and improvise a workout as they go. In order to create an exercise routine that will ensure fitness, there are fundamental steps you must follow. Although not all people are looking for the same results, these basic steps will help anyone wishing to become a healthier person.
...ody parts at the right time while still getting sleep and eating a sensible food. Many people don't understand that you don't grow at the gym; you grow while you are sleeping. If you're hitting the weights every day in the week, than a good night's rest is in order to avoid fatigue and failure. an important difference between an individual who reaches his goals and another who is not doing any effort, his only effort is loudmouthed on the person who tries to be fit without even knowing the amount of sweat he had during workout in the gym." Knowing is enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough: we must do actually i don't think that you will be fit in two or three weeks you can't climb the ladder of success with the hands in the pocket. If there is a will there is a way you have to think of your future from now, you have to push up now for a glory future forever.

When I first began to exercise, I was primarily trying to add size on to my body. At the time I only weighed about one hundred sixty pounds and I was six foot one inch. I was also eight teen and feeling that my lack of participating in school sporting events, as well as my abuse of alcohol and less than ideal food choices, had stunted my physical potential. With this new found feeling of inadequacy I set off on a journey that would change my life forever. The first thing I noticed when I began searching for ways to change my body, was that I was obviously going to have to buy weights if I wanted to look like the guys in the gym. So I set out and purchased the cheapest bench and set of weights I could find. I began to mimic exercises that I had seen people do on television or while walking past the gym. In a period of about a month I had already noticed a huge difference in the amount of weight that I could lift. Within the first year of unorganized lifting, as well as no change to my eating habits, I h...
