Introduction
The purpose of this personal dietary assessment is to measure my individual food and nutrient intake level, as well as my activity level. By recording my current food and nutrient intake, I am able to compare them with the recommended nutrients intake values and understand both advantages and disadvantages of my personal habits. Moreover, this assignment can provide me a deeper understanding of the knowledge of nutrition, allow me to build a much healthier eating habit, and improve my lifestyle.
Methodology

Last of all, I analyzed and discussed my dietary intake values and energy balance levels in the discussion section based on the reports and knowledges from lectures.
Dietary Reference Intakes (DRI) is a serious of nutrient intake values including Estimated Average Requirement (EAR), Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA), Adequate Intake (AI), Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL), Estimated Energy Requirement (EER), and Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Range (AMDR), which are used to standardize nutrients intake levels that can maintain health and prevent food-related diseases, and are recommended by the scientific knowledge (Hammond, 2016a). By reviewing my Eating Habit Table, I concluded three factors that affects my food choices and eating habits. First of all, nutrition is the primary factor since I am more likely to prepare food by myself instead of eating outside of home because I know what is in the food and in what amount that I consumed. Secondly, time is also a major factor that guide my eating habit. For example, I would like to choose the food that is easy to prepare. During the weekdays, there is often not enough time to prepare meal, so I tend to consume fast food from café or eat less food.
