1. INTRODUCTION
Finding an empty parking space is a common problem in most urban areas which especially occurs in popular areas and tourist attraction spots. This situation has become more serious especially during their peak time, be it holiday seasons ,carnivals or any other festivals. The limited availability of vacant parking spaces often result in traffic congestion. Limitation of a driver’s capability of finding a vacant parking spaces and absence of efficient management are also at fault causing this problem.
So we are going to design a system which aims to improve parking facilities by the introduction of a smart car parking system. The system will automatically assign a vacant space to the patrons for parking their vehicles. The patron will be guided to the specified location by referring to variable message sign and the map and the location printed on the parking ticket, in which the whole process is monitored by a central computer to store and update the occupancy status of available parking space vacancies in the database.
In short this Application allows to:
• Recognize the registration number on the plate of the car.
• Update local database for allocation of vacant slots.
• After successfully checking out it will delete the details from the local database and update the history for security issues.
• Generate the bill advice on successfully exiting
The system will include software, and camera components.
The installation of this software in parking facility will provide lot owners with
accurate information on parking lot occupancy. Figure 1 shows the building parking space
we are designing for. It has 20 parking slots in which all are available for customers.

...hnical support. The technical issues usually raise in the feasibility stage of the investigation include these:
Does the necessary technologies exist to do what is required (and can be acquired)?
Does the proposed equipment have the technical capabilities to hold the data which is required to use the new system?
Will the proposed system provide adequate responses to inquire, regardless of the no? Of location of users?
Can the system be inhanced and increased if developed?
Is there any technical guarantees of accuracy, reliability, ease of access, and the data security?
Here we have tried to provide some better facilities to the users of the software. In fact the requirements were easily attainable. Machines successfully solve the requirement for installation.
JAVA software requirement includes:
Physical memory (RAM) : 1 GB
Disk space : 40 GB
The number of complaints relating to Cal State Fullerton’s parking is out of control. Considering the prices CSU Fullerton charges to park at their school, students should be guaranteed a parking space. Students are currently outraged regarding the Cal State Fullerton’s parking conditions. Some students even decide to not attend the school based on the pricing and availability of parking. A school losing an immense number of students only because of the parking situation is insane. Cal State Fullerton should reduce the pricing towards parking for reasons of availability, cost, and profit.
It has come to my attention that the functionality of my computer system is quite limited for the company’s day-to-day actions. It gives me great honor to propose, a new set of systems that will replace the dated systems that I currently use to complete my job. I am confident that these machines will allow me to think of new creative, ideas that will create new innovative marketing strategies for the company.
The infrastructure in West Main Street is not dissimilar to City Road in regards to the street bollards which have been introduced to stop vehicles parking on the pavements. Pedestrian islands are another similarly regular sight throughout the street. (‘The Street’, 2009, Scene 1) Both these material things are there to ensure the safety and ease of pedestrians while drivers may find these a nuisance as they are restricted to the small amount of parking bays along the street instead of parking on the pavement for convenience, consequently resulting in an inequality amid the public. There is a steady flow of traffic through the street of which most are cars but there are a lot of busses as well. The busses seem to be in favour of...

Parking on Campus is a Pain New students entering Concordia College are not permitted to have a car on campus. With each new freshman class entering every year, parking represents an issue. Concordia is as of now constrained in its parking on campus and since first year students are not permitted to have cars, the students are confronted with the problem of having no place to park or parking very a long way from their goal. There are parking issues everywhere throughout the campus, making backups in residence hall and other lots, bringing about students parking illegally to avoid from walking far distances, which can be very aggravating in the bitter cold. Parking nearer appears like the reasonable thing to do, however it is a hazard, which
Any project that strives to be a success has to have adequate planning as well as the proper resources in place. In order for the system implementation process to progress smoothly there must be several resources in place which include human, hardware, software, technical, and financial. When Brewton Enterprises’ system has begun the startup process the most important of these resources during this time period will be hardware, software, technical, and financial.
Project #12: It is proposed to repair the asphalt on parking lot number 2 at Hampton University. Measure the Area of the lot to the nearest possible [foot] and present it graphically. Knowing that cost of asphalting is $7500 for the first one acre and $210 per each additional square yard, determine the total cost of the project. This report will discuss the methods used to measure the area of the lot and how the measurements were used to determine the cost of asphalting.
Parking on campus needs improving. Students entering the university are allowed to have a car on campus. With every new freshmen class entering parking posses a problem on campus. The campus is already limited in its parking on campus and since freshmen are allowed to have cars, the students before them are faced with the dilemma of how many new freshmen will be bringing a car to school.
The hospital needs to find a way to improve the tracking of Voice Over IP (VOIP) calls within the hospital and also wants to have a program to improve response time of medical personnel by using the GPS to locate the closes vehicle to the emergency. A design will need to be made of the Requires and Provides interfaces of two components that might be used in the VOIP system. A design of the interface is needed for two components that may be used in the vehicle discovery component to find the nearest vehicle to the incident with the Requires and Provides interfaces.
Autolib organization is an Electric car sharing organization which was initiated in Paris to alleviate several factors like traffic congestion, noise, and air pollution and yield people with more transit options. It was said that roughly about 70% of the Parisians do not have cars still there were more than 1 million people driving in the city each day and approximately about 10% of traffic in capital is looking for parking space which resulted in the congestions and emissions. To resolve these issues a logistic company IER, introduced this system which helps the drivers to reduce the costs by 90%, save time and provided easy access with the help of predictive analysis by analyzing all the facts which constitute to the critical benefits to the city of Paris.
In 2013, Paul Kennedy argued in his presentation program CBC radio Ideas that “parking causes huge economic, environmental, and even social problems” (“Paying for Parking”). In 2009, a research shown there were 607 motor vehicles owned per 1000 people (“The World Bank”). Vehicle is one of the major transportation tools that widely used in Canada. We can see parking lots everywhere including schools, shopping malls, hospitals and airports in North American. Huge amount vehicles require more and more lands are designed for parking in cities. It shapes our cities, house costs, causes the air pollutions and wastes our time (“Paying for Parking”). The current urban planning and parking regulations are the necessary and remote factors that eventually causes economic and environmental problems. We should change the parking policy to prevent the environmental problem happens.
Wicked problems refer to socio-cultural difficulties that are impossible to solve due inadequacy of knowledge, large number of involved opinions of people, heavy effect on the economy, and the interlinked manner of the given problems to others. Wicked, in this context, represents something that opposes resolution. Various urban problems are persistent due to their wicked characteristics. This paper seeks to contextualize three wicked urban issues, namely, urban biodiversity, urban street planning, and urban smart cities, as reported in news articles. This will necessitate a better understanding of the specified wicked problems as a way of finding probable solutions.
The accuracy of data input is extremely important. There are several types of data input. They all provide different aspects of data accuracy. There is Copy and paste method, Typing of data input manually, Verbal through
looking for a parking space, and waiting in line. There are many ways to save time and
of multiple types of end users. The data is stored in one location so that they
