Names like platinum, gold etc. are marketing gimmicks used to attract clients to certain products to the want to be affiliated to a certain class of products. The names should be to the effect of provoking the customers’ emotions to relate a product to a class they belong to and or wish to be associated with. To this end, a customer who is of a lower class will buy a product with a terminology reflecting a higher class just so they get the sense of belonging to such a class. Once you get a massive response to a specific package, market heavily on it so as to gain consumer confidence in it, upon that platform, the general reception of all the other products will be gained ultimately. To this end, there is need to ensure that the packaging’s difference is not too diverse as to relate the two different products and yet dissimilar enough as to get a client to choose one from the other without difficulty.
To gain this market edge, CP Corp also needs to come up with a quality management policy and strategy. This would go towards developing a framework for how the corporation would run its operations as well manage and control their quality (Langheinrich, & Kaltschmitt, 2006, p.915-922). For CP Corp to have success in their product they have to ensure that they have an effective quality assurance and quality control process integrated within their quality management
