Don't get me wrong though, i adored the way i looked but i was to insecure to show up to school. I was petrified over the fact that i would hear a bad comment and i would take it personally and feel bad about myself. Consequently, my mother and i talked things out which made me feel alot better. She made me understand that many people make rude comments out of jealousy. The moment i stepped into the school, i felt a lot of awkward stares. I learned how to solve problems through these conflicts and became more mature.

As the eldest child of a single mother, one huge adversity I had faced growing up would be helping my mother with my two younger brothers. My parents divorced when I was six years old and my father being in the military was deployed around the world. I don’t think not having my father active in my life put me at a disadvantage but there were times where things would’ve been easier if he were there. My mother wasn’t able to work most of the time because she had to watch my younger brothers. Therefore, we are considered a low-income family. Second, you have the forces from all directions preventing you from maintaining proper position and you must fight those forces during the movement. For these reasons alone, there is absolutely no reason to perform this routine with a heavy load.
An obstacle I once overcame was losing one of my closest friends. It all happened the very first day of eighth grade. Kimberly and I were best friends ever since I transfered there in seventh grade, and we hung out all summer. She was the person I could talk to about anything;she always knew how to make me smile, and I told her everything. She never hurt me before until out of nowhere she just stopped talking to me. I was very confused and sad for months, and every time I even tried to talk to her she would walk away and wouldn’t even look at me. It was very hard to deal with because for a long time I had no one to talk to, and I started to lose focus on school and other responsibilities. It was as if I was a ship going through a sea storm. After
