I feel like my strongest trait is that I am very independent. I focus more when I work alone. I can be shy at times. I really do not like attention. I just want to do my work and be left alone honestly. Group work really helps me, depending on who is my group. I am trying to be successful in college. I do not want to be the same person that is in high school now. My problem is that I don’t take high school exceedingly. I know I can pass high school without giving my best effort. I procrastinate way too much now. I need to eliminate that main factor for college. Being around people that want to have a successful life will make me a better person. I love those two hobbies because I can be myself and be creative. Intrinsically, I am blessed to be able to do these hobbies. Basketball brings out my personality. When I am playing basketball it brings out all my problems and anger. Instead of bringing my problems and anger out on people, I bring it out on the court. I think that’s why I enjoy to play basketball because I can be myself and get rid of my problems. My mother always asks me why I never smile. It is because I am angry. Furthermore, I play because my mom struggles ‘to take care of me and my five brothers by herself. I remember when I was in the third grade, and I would have to stay at home and watch my little brothers. She did not have money to pay for a babysitter. That’s why I play my heart out every game, so I will not see her struggle. If I ever make it to the WNBA, the first thing I will buy is a house for my mom. I want to be the best player that I can be.
