Osama Bin Laden is brought up to a be Muslim extremist. He spent most of his adulthood waging a holy war against the west. Most people know him as the man behind 9/11, and the leader of “Al Qaeda” . He is one of the most popular terrorist leaders in modern history. Laden was a terrorist leader who became very influential with the help of his money, and a common goal that he and his followers all had: Muslim domination. It all started with the birth of Al Qaeda. Osama then started to get involved in war which started his popularity throughout Central Asia. “As a result of his participation in the Afghanistan civil war, Bin Laden became very well known throughout the country” ( Stevenson 2). They also wanted attention and recognition for their actions. The Muslims would strap bombs to their chests, create explosives, and be armed with guns, all for the Allah god.
