Christopher Fisher, a Licensed Administrator of Nursing Home with a degree of MS and NHA and currently working as an Administrator Fox Subacute at Mechanicsburg was the guest speaker of the class. His presentation was very engaging and highlighted the differences of the Nursing Home Operations and its regulatory process and business hierarchy. First, he talked about his background relevant to his job status. In addition, he stated that he started working as Licensed Administrator since May 2008, but prior to that, he started in skilled nursing as admissions/social services on May 2005. Furthermore, I learned that business development in Nursing home operations is genuinely important because it plays a significant role in providing the quality care to the patients in healthcare organizations and focuses on responsibilities to make better health care system. I am really influenced by their presentations because the information that I learned from them was very productive and important which assist to endeavor me in managing myself in future, as a health administrator or pharmacist to achieve the pure excellence of an organization because I have an experience of volunteering at pharmacy to distribute medicines for patients, from where I gained more knowledge about dealing with patients and knew how the health system works. So, lastly, in order to run business development successfully and efficiently, the effective strategies and plans needs to be implemented
