Thank you for considering me for induction into the James Monahan Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. I have been looking to join this society ever since I heard about it and have been trying my best so I can. I believe that I demonstrate the qualities of service, leadership, and character and would be a great addition to the National Junior Honor Society. Day to day I show that I have the quality of service. One example that I can give to you that shows this is that during lunch one will probably see me working with and helping my friends with their classwork, homework or other things that they need help school wise with. Even sometimes kids I barely know ask me for help. Another example that shows the quality of service is that I help out teachers and other school officials when I can. Like when I help out in the library sometimes during study hall with sorting out some books, bring laptop carts back in the library, and other things. I also show service because I participate in student council and help out in it. I hope have can show you how much I willing to …show more content…
help out in the National Junior Honor Society. I have demonstrated leadership a lot throughout my years so far in school. I believe that leadership is not about one person dictating, but rather that it is a team effort. As I participate in activities where I am the leader I make sure that I work with my peers and listen to their ideas in hopes that we can join together to devise a creative plan of action. But a leader must also make sure that everything goes how it is supposed to and at times must be willing to take educated risk that will help you and others. When I am in a leadership position I also use my power to aid in the uplifting of others. I hope to prove myself to be a good example and mentor for those who seek help in the National Junior Honor Society. I believe that I have many different qualities that attribute to my character some including that I am consistently friendly, am very responsible, and very organized.
Character to me is not doing good things to other people to look good, but to be good. I am always striving to help others out. I always am willing to invite someone lonely to a lunch table, or help others out while going class to class. I have organizational skills and am able to come up with many innovative ideas that will be beneficial to National Junior Honor Society. I am a great listener, but can step up to be a leader when needed. I am kind and polite, and always turn my work in on time and I also have never failed a class or subject in my life. I also have the ability to speak in front of large groups of people and present ideas. I think that I have a character that would really benefit in the National Junior Honor
Society. I have shown you many qualities that makes me who I am. From being very helpful to who I really am. I hope I have shown you how I demonstrate the qualities of service, leadership, and character and hope that I have proven to you that I am worthy to join the National Junior Honor Society.
I would be an excellent choice to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society because I show service, leadership, character, and citizenship. It is an amazing opportunity anyone is lucky to have, and I am more than happy to accept it. I love helping people, being able to feel accomplished knowing I put a smile on someone’s face. Being in the National Junior Honor Society, I’d love to share my ideas and thoughts on how to make the world a better place.
My contribution to the scholarship aspect will come from my maintaining my high GPA. As well as, continuing to grow my commitment to learning by being eager to do my best academically. Contributing to leadership, I will step out to aid others. I shall lead by example, promoting a well-rounded influence on my surrounding peers. I desire to become more involved with leadership roles, and strive to create more opportunities to lead and be responsible for myself. As for character, I will uphold my moral standards, maintain a positive attitude and demeanor towards others, be encouraging to those around me, and remain honest and hardworking. Lastly, for service I will continue to devote time into volunteering and providing help for those who need it in my surrounding community. I’d be able to find a suitable medium to taking on the extra commitment of NHS. Most of the activities I do outside school would be continued, but they would now be done under the values of NHS, such as my extracurriculars and service
To be in the National Junior Honor Society, one must have good citizenship and character. I seek to be a part of this society because it is a great honor and shows not only to others, but also to myself, how hard I have worked throughout my years at Northvale Public School. I take part in school activities and have helped my teachers, so
I was very excited when I heard that I had been invited into National Junior Honors Society. The first time I heard of NJHS, it instantly became a goal of mine. When my older sister left for college I was very sad, so I think that this is a way for me to keep a part of her. I have always been that little girl no one understood, because I’m always very excited to learn and get back to school after summer break. I’m very happy to see that I’ve been invited, but this is why I should be accepted.
I am truly honored to be a candidate for an organization like NJHS. I know that if admitted, I will gain more experience and confidence which are important traits, along with the pillars of National Junior Honor Society. However, in my own life I feel that I’ve already earned the necessary qualities of an inductee. The privilege to be a part of NJHS will be something I would always be grateful for because of all the positive things I know will come with
National Junior Honor Society as a nation premier organization started to recognize outstanding middle-level students. NJHS is a way to honor students who have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of excellence in the areas of the five pillars which are, scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. This organization that was started in 1929 is a great opportunity for me to show my family and teachers how hard I work to get this far. I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary student who are being considered for this program. This organization the so many great things in society, and knowing that I could potentially be a part of it and play a part in futuring the impression that the organization has already made. I am a determined student, and will do anything to do my absolute best even when something hard is thrown my way. I have always hoped to be a part of something big like National Junior Honor Society, and I hope that this will be my chance to be a part of something big. In my essay I have provided several reasons why you should consider me being on National Junior Honors Society.
I would like to be invited to join the Scripps chapter of National Junior Honor Society for several reasons. Primarily because I would like to help out the society and Scripps. Second I have good leadership, and lastly, I have built a good character over the years and I have a good citizenship.
Throughout my first year in middle school I have really started taking great thought into my future. I have realized that I am getting closer to my adult life and that I need to start to plan for the type of future that I wish to have. As much as I enjoy team activities, I do think of myself as more of a leader and would like to go about planning my career in this way. I am determined to go about things at an advanced pace which is why I believe I should be part of the National Junior Honor Society.
I believe that I, Christine Kuykendall, am a good candidate for a spot in National Junior Honors Society. I hold all of the core values, I am an all A student, and I love helping in the community. I am also a very hard worker and I believe that I can do great things in National Junior Honors Society.
While embracing the start of my High School career, my academic endeavors have allowed me to grow exponentially as a person. The unique extracurriculars and courses that the Freshman Center have provided, allowed me to take charge of the opportunity to challenge myself academically. With that challenge, coincidentally allows for another opportunity to give back to the community; allowing to make a positive impact in subtle ways. The National Junior Honor Society provides the opportunity to do just that, and beyond. The corner stone of this Honor Society relies on the solid foundation of the five pillars: Character, Service, Scholarship, Citizenship, and Leadership.
In the end, even though being remarkable in each of the four attributes valued by the National Honor Society is erratic and outside the capacity of many individual students, I truly believe that as a whole I have achieved many aspects of each of the attributes and should be strongly considered to be inducted into the prestigious organization. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society would not only be an honor, but also give me confidence in my achievements and my future. I sincerely hope that we share similar opinions about my qualifications and strong development as a complete person in which I can get inducted into the National Honor Society at Westerville Central.
I am deeply grateful to be given the opportunity to apply to such an important organization as National Honor Society. To me, it reflects that I have achieved my goal of working as hard as I can to set an example in both my school and community, and I could not be more honored. This organization does great things for any community it touches, and I believe that I can play a part in furthering the impression that is made.
The National Honor Society would benefit from my membership in numerous ways. I have previous experience with the society with being a member of the NJHS in middle school. In addition to bringing a great GPA with my membership, I bring all of the other key elements that makes the NHS what it is today. I will benefit the club with my leadership skills, my character, and my volunteerism. As well as these pillars of NHS, the chapter will benefit from my time-management skills, my organization,
A member of the National Honor Society must exhibit traits such as scholarship, leadership, service, and character. That is why members of National Honor Society are among the best and the brightest students in their school. They represent their school with honor and pride. Hence the name, National Honor Society.
Scholarship, leadership, service, and character, those are the main qualities that an individual must voice by joining the National Honors Society. I am here to represent each characteristic and express it through my personal life as well as my academic. For me it’s of great importance that people must cultivate these four essential qualities. Then a thought crosses my mind, similar to a cloud appearing in an empty sky, how can I announce that I do these qualities when my actions are portraying something else? Unattainable! Therefore I go into my bubble of thought, my personal space that no one else can reach except me. So I reflected on each qualities, and the bulb that is inside my brain turned on and mesmerized the rest of my thoughts ,
