When discussing about a nation-state it is imperative to distinguish it from other nations. A nation state is made from its political legitimacy which enables it to be a sovereign organ or a country within a component of sovereign territory (Hutchinson, 2012). The state is a geopolitical as well as a political organ and the nation is a cultural body, therefore, nation state draws its existence in both geopolitical and ethnic cultural backgrounds.
Further, transnational entities are societies made of a divergent group of people and individuals who are located in different national societies. These international entities act on the grounds of their shared interests or goals which may comprise language, religion or territorial guidelines. The transnational communities use such links to reinforce their cohesions which are way above borders of a nation (Betsill & Bulkeley, 2004).
The upsurge of the nation state result to the growth of transnational entities. This is the incident which occurred during the post national and post-colonial period. Transnational entities developed because there was increased emigration from several national and territorial states, both from centralized states like Turkey and federal states like Mexico.
A group of people are taken as a nation state if; they are permanent residents of a distinct territory, they display some system of government, they have a shared culture, and they pronounce themselves to be independent. When a group becomes a nation, the past loyalties to society or tribe must be surrendered to the incoming political order. This is inclusive of the shared documents and history. Thus, a sense of a shared future develops (Walter, 2004).

...ation facilitates to meet the needs for the nation-state objectives. They have to establish a good relationship with other nations and maintain the relation so as to enhance trade business because of the interests of the nation-state (Friedman, 2008).
In conclusion, understanding various states and transnational entities is very important, especially when countries are planning to work together and conduct transnational businesses. There are many cultures, policies, shared values that vary from county to country, from one sovereign state to the other. In 21st century, if these divergent cultures are put together the whole world economy will grow by double digits. The partnership between countries wide apart in transatlantic can form a perfect transatlantic trade that will be beneficial for the economy of many countries such as that of the U.S. and European Union.
