Within the book Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto tells a tale of a boy named Naruto Uzumaki rising to the rank of Hokage (meaning fire shadow). This novel was written in third person meaning Naruto isn't the only one rising ranks. Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto’s best friend, has equal amount of power that Naruto holds. Born in the Okayama Prefecture in 1974 as the older of two twins, Masashi Kishimoto sprung on to the scene as one of the greatest mangakas in all of history just within the couple past years, with his beloved and ever popular manga of Naruto. Naruto has quickly become one of the most popular and best selling mangas of all time, read by millions worldwide each week.

Iruka gives chase and acknowledges Naruto as Mizuki is about to kill him, but Naruto demonstrates what he learned and defeats Mizuki. Iruka passes Naruto as a ninja. A one-way love triangle occurs between Naruto, who likes Sakura, who in turn likes Sasuke. The three are put into a team as part of their training. Kakashi is then formally introduced to Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, and discuss their ambitions. Kakashi devises a test, to steal one of two bells from him. The person without one will have to return to the academy. Kakashi permits them to act as though they are trying to kill him. Kakashi schools the team in the 3 main categories of techniques, barely flinching once while remaining calm and even reading a book while fighting. This also marks the first use of Sennen Goroshi.
