Without the thousands of carers, the health of many of society’s most vulnerable would suffer as the government would struggle to fund the costs of providing alternative care. Yet there is a growing reliance upon unpaid carers who are willing and able to provide the care which allows people to remain within their home. Firstly, the health issues of an aging and unhealthy population means there are increasing numbers of people aged 18+ who find it difficult to look after themselves. The main points of the children’s act 1989 are parental responsibility and the welfare of the child. Children are best cared for within their own families. The act states that the mental and physical wellbeing of the child is important. Professionals and parents/carers must work together to ensure the safety of the child. Duties get allocated to local authorities, and other agencies to ensure that all children are safeguarded. The children’s act 2004 reinforces that all organisations that work with children and young people must help to safeguard

Surprisingly to the majority, the nanny jobs may be a notably tightened one. If an individual is interested in nannying as a career as a result of the notion that it chiefly consists of buzzing lullabies to babies to send them off to never-never land, then they'll be enlightened once the truth sets in. Not everybody will be a nanny. It's physically and showing emotion tightened, and as we tend to are liable for young lives, mistakes merely should not happen. Babies learning to crawl will tumble down steps, toddles will reach for and grasp a cup of hot occasional.

I am interested in becoming a RCCL (Residential Child Care Licensing Inspector) because I believe it's imperative to protect the children who have previously been in dangerous situations. The children that RCCLs help are already quite fragile and most likely have some mental and emotional scars. This sector of the child population need to be cared for and kept especially safe. In working and dealing with emotional and mentally scarred children can be quite difficult due to their lack of trust, self-esteem, and possible anger caused by the trauma and/or removal from home. While gaining those children’s trust would be an equally difficult endeavor, I believe the aid provided by RCCLs is life altering making the job one of the most rewarding positions
