My Personal Experience In My Age, Attending College

Change is inevitable, as humans, we transform daily and distinction of who we are can be seen as part of our DNA. But as we change we define who we are. However, it is the type of change that an individual decides to undertake during a certain time frame in their life that is most important to them. For myself, the personal change that occurred and was so significant was the opportunity to attend college.
Attending College Understanding the prospect to attend college was a great opportunity, nevertheless there were many factors to be considered; my age, attending college online and not in the traditional the classroom and finally understanding how a degree would benefit my career at this point in my life.
Age
Although it was to be a wonderful chance to attend college, it had appeared that the opportunity to attend college for someone at my age was not favorable. At the age of 47, what was I thinking? As a young mother of four children, attending college was something that was not in the future, it was chalked up as a missed opportunity. As an eighteen year old, when most people attend college, I married, had children and then divorced. Learning new skills and being able to retain what I had learned was never my strong suit. In order for me to study for a test, I would study day and night to past the class, but not be able to remember what I studied or what I ate in the morning, It would take me twice as long to know and understand what someone halve my age would comprehend.
