My High School Is a Green Machine

Going green is a fantastic idea for Mingo Central High School because every day someone complains of how scandalous and destructive our world is. Everyone needs to come together and start ways of cleaning up the world and making it a healthier place to live. There are many trash cans around the school; therefore, it would be fantastic to have a recycling can to place all the plastic, paper, and other items that can be recycled in them. It would really be pleasant to see every student get together and clean up our school—not only for a cleaner school environment, but to save and like I said, make the world a better as well. The school could save a ton of money to buy other things needed for the classroom if everyone stepped in and helped make it eco-friendly. Recycling, going paperless, saving energy, educating, and avoiding plastic are all great ways to give back, and also make our school a cleaner place.

To begin, one of the most supportive ways of going green would be by recycling more instead of throwing it down or sending it to a landfill. Recycling is the process of changing waste materials into something new and non-harmful. Importantly, facts show that over 80% of school materials are able to be recycled. Recycling is an easy way to keep the environment clean, and even save money! If school systems would include recycling cans instead of garbage cans, it would make it easier for children and adults to throw items that can be recycled in the recycling can instead of the garbage. By doing this, the school will have more money to purchase more things the students and staff need. It is always important to have a safe and clean school environment, not only for children, but the staff also.

In conclusion, the main motive for our school is to obviously go green. If everyone would get together and help recycle and save energy, the budget would be higher and they could afford things that need to be purchased around the school for the students’ education. Recycle everything that can be recycled to help save money and get the environment clean. Going paperless is also a great idea for a school to save money and have extra supplies at a cheaper price. Ultimately, avoiding the use of plastic would be the best alternative to going green and cleaning up the world. With more help and effort, our school and along with our community would be on its way to becoming a green machine.
