Football has been a passion of mine since I was a little boy, I remember the first game I watched, it was the super bowl game between the Patriots and the Rams in 2002 when I was 6 years old. I remember being so fascinated and enthralled with the game that I watched it in its entirety. I watched it right down to the nail-biting finish where the Patriots kicked the winning field goal to win the game. From that point forward I became a fan of the NFL. From then on, I started NFL games like a hawk. My uncle brought me NFL gear which included jerseys, shirts, video games, and even a blanket that had the Dallas Cowboys logo on it. One of my favorite Video Games of all-time is a football game by the likes of ESPN NFL 2k5. Boy, I would spend hours
Football has been a big part of my life ever since I was a little kid. I almost always tried to play football when I could with my brothers if they weren’t busy messing around. During recess in grade school my class would try to start a football game and I would be the first in to be picked on a team. My first time being on a “football team” was in little league my third grade year and I’ve never missed a year yet now that I am a senior in highschool and I’m hoping to continue it in college. Football made the person who I am today, it changed me in many ways and affected how I am as a person.
Surprisingly enough, one will find the most passionate football players at the high school level. Most boys will start their football career as a young child in football programs such as Pop Warner to get a foothold and to get those involved in teamwork and friendships. These programs are usually the start to someone falling in love with the sport and making it a career choice eight years later. Football is one of America’s favorite sports. When fall season comes around, people across America are placing bets, finding out where that new sports bar is, and buying wide screen T.V’s to watch NFL on Sundays.
Before birth football seemed like it would be a factor in my life. My uncles and cousins were key players of their high school football teams. Even though they were a factor I developed a love for the game myself. The drive from my family made me want to go harder.
Unfortunately though football had to come to an end. Having to hang my jersey and give up football before high school. Believe me it was neither my choice nor my second it was my parents’ design. My parents’ knew at the time that I love playing football, but they did not want me to get a concussion this I did not fully understand. Because not long after, sophomore year in high school I got my first concussion by played two-hand touch football. How it happened it was a weight lifting class and the class would play football and eventually two-hand touch exculpated to tackling.
I think it is time for me to finally be able to have more freedom and do what I want. I have a passion for soccer and I would like for you to let me play more soccer. You both like soccer it so much that I am playing not only for me but for you too. I care about soccer so much I try every time on the field to be the best player I can be. I have time I will be able to fit in more practice I just need your approval so I can have more practice. I know it will be tough but I am up for the challenge
The first time I ever watched football was in the fourth grade and since that day I fell in love with the sport. My favorite football team became the Dallas Cowboys after my uncle told me a little about them. Not long after I started playing football with my cousin and brother. It was in seventh grade that I decided to join a football team and I was pretty scared. Since I’ve been a kid, I never really got hurt so I was afraid that might happen. When I started to play for a team I really started to love the sport for what it was and I began to appreciate it more. When I played football, I always pushed myself to do the best that I can
“Class,” I announced, “today I will teach you a simpler method to find the greatest common factor and the least common multiple of a set of numbers.” In fifth grade, my teacher asked if anyone had any other methods to find the greatest common factor of two numbers. I volunteered, and soon the entire class, and teacher, was using my method to solve problems. Teaching my class as a fifth grader inspired me to teach others how important math and science is. These days, I enjoy helping my friends with their math homework, knowing that I am helping them understand the concept and improve their grades.
My passion for the fascinating wolrd of science literally can not be put into words. Since receiving my first home science kit at five years of age the way things work and why has always been at the forefront of my mind. During my early years I would find great delight in examining anything I could fit under the lens of my telescope. I will never forget my first look at the intricate detail of a human hair.
You have truly made all of our time on the NDA basketball team some of the best days of our lives and ones that none of us will ever forget. You have welcomed all of us onto the team with open arms. You have loved and supported all of us as if we were your daughters. You have taught us how to become strong independent woman by modeling one every day. You have shown us the importance of positivity while helping us through difficult situations.
I have been raised with my father watching some type of football meaning college or professional. I can sit and watch some sports but football is different because there are so many different things going on and there are so many people doing cool or unique tackles or hits that get your attention and you just can't look away cause it's so cool. On the other hand my father is constantly watching it like it's an addiction to him. I would be lying if i said he watched other sports but really he doesn't watch any others besides football and espn, but on an occasion he will watch
American Football is not merely a sport, its a culture. In the south football is in some ways a lifestyle. From the rivalries to the championships its truly one of the most exciting sports to have ever been created. This is why I love it so much, it is much more than just a game it has a much deeper meaning to it. From the outside looking in, many people do not fully realize the impact it has on each and every player throughout its history. Football has made me who I am today.
For as long as I can remember football has been a part of my life in some way, shape, or form. When I was first born my grandfather said that I was solid and built to play football. I used to throw the football with my mother when I was a toddler and she always told me that when I tried to tackle her I hit really hard. My first organized football experience was when I was five. I had just moved to Manassas, VA from Washington, D.C. in 1994. It was around fall and that was right at the beginning of football season in the area. I remember telling my mother that I wanted to play, so she looked for a local organization for children. She came across the Greater Manassas Football League (GMFL) and that is where I began to play the game I love.
Growing up, I always enjoyed watching sports whether it would be broadcast on the television or live in the stands at a stadium. Sports have been big part of my life. I both watched sports but I also played several sports throughout my youth. I have played baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, and track and field.
Many people love watching and participating in sporting events. Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd U.S. president once said, "Sports is the very fiber for what we all stand for. It keeps our spirit alive." No matter if watching or playing, football is one of America's most popular sports. Many people attend high school, college, and professional football every year. You can relate many aspects of football and sports to life. . I think football is the best sport I have ever played or watched.
School began interesting for me my last year of high school. School was always important to me, but I never had a passion for it. However, I always put myself in a position to find a passion for school. I never skipped class, I never talked back, and I did my best to stay engaged in every class at all times. A desire to succeed in school did not happen until my final year of high school. I made it my mission to do well in school even if I had not found a passion for school. With my Dyslexia and my ADD, I have always struggled in school, and still struggle in school. I did not discover my Dyslexia and ADD until I was in the 10th grade. The doctor said I relied on my intelligence to create other ways to find the answer which masked my disabilities.
