Essay 2 - Success Success can mean different things to many different people. J.K. Rowling, a renowned author for many children’s books, has described her success through her failures. She describes the lowest point in her life, an awakening to rebuild her life. (……..) How I define success isn’t by people’s expectations of me and what society wants from me. How I define success is by what I want to be and what I do to achieve my goals. Although success is not an easy thing to complete overnight, what pushes me to achieve success is the qualities of perseverance, determination, and my own failures. Even though many people try to reach there desire of perfection called success, it entails much hard work. Working hard to drive yourself toward your goals, there will always be obstacles blocking your path. Often times we lose the motivation to keep trying. Walt Disney, a joyful animator and innovator, did not have the solutions and ideas on the first try on making Disneyland. I believe that every up there is always a down. To speak, life is so full of twist and turns that you never know where your going to end up. Whether it be from getting fired, skipping a test, or even making a bad decision, it is failure that helps us to understand what mistakes we made. Its alright to make mistakes. Making mistakes is human. No one has become a someone with out making a mistake. It is through our mistakes, that we learn and rise to help us make better decision in the future.
