“Float like a butterfly; sting like a bee ahhhh! Rumble, young man rumble ahhhh!” Those were the words echoed time and time again from Cassius Clay and his corner man David Brown. Better known as Muhammad Ali, he has a legacy of being the greatest fighter whoever lived.
Elijah Muhammad, son of a sharecropper, was born into poverty in Sandersville, Georgia, on October 7, 1897 (biography.com). After moving to Detroit in 1923, he met W. D. Fard, founder of the black separatist movement Nation of Islam (biography.com). Muhammad became Fard’s successor from 1934-75 and was known for his controversial preaching (biography.com). Muhammad faced many challenges during his life span. He declared that Fard had been an incarnation of Allah and that he himself was now Allah’s messenger (biography.com). For forty-one year’s Muhammad spread the word of the Nation of Islam, slowly but steadily attracting new members (biography.com). Zola is to integrate technology school wide. To assist her in reaching this goal she will need to hire a technology resource teacher. Who she chooses for the position will determine if the integration is successful or not – especially since most teachers at Roma Elementary are reluctant to use technology (McDonald, 2006). In addition, how Ms. Zola chooses to implement the technology initiative could either create buy-in from teachers or result in resistance. According to the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) an administrator needs to inspire and facilitate a shared vision or purposeful change to create and sustain a culture for digital age learning (2016). Ms. Zola will need to clearly communicate her expectations and vision throughout the school
(Giroir, 2013). In this particular assignment, I am asked to interview a college graduate or

In this paper, I will write a brief reflection over my interview with Professor David Christianson. I asked my professor fourteen questions, all question had different meanings and answers. I will start off my paper with some facts and advice which I received from my professor, my personal reflection on the facts, my personal reflection on the overall experience, and lastly, I will end my paper with the conclusion.
I consider a hero someone that has done great things. There are different opinions in what a hero is but to me , being a hero is one who accomplishes hard goals, standing up for their own rights, doing things that are extraordinary. Muhammad Ali-Cassius Clay is someone that fills my standards of a hero. Muhammad Ali has accomplished hard goals by getting medals in the Olympics. Muhammad Ali had to stand up for his rights when he started to box. He has accomplished things in his life that would be very hard for me to accomplish. Muhammad Ali has done things that I think are very magnificent. The thing Muhammad Ali has done makes him a hero to me.
Elaine explained to me that she had submitted her résumé, the board reviewed her credentials, and she also had to submit three letters of recommendation and was interviewed by the school board. Elaine stated that why she did right, to be hired was “based upon past experience, and recommendations from several people within the school system and my credentials”. She believes the most important factors to becoming hired in today’s market are “credentials, education, and personality”.
The late 1960s and early 70s were charged with political activism and change. Just as the camera followed the progress of earlier events like the Great Depression and the Homefront of World War II, cameras and photographers were there to capture the protest for civil rights and American militarism of the Vietnam War. Simultaneously, sports were occupying more of the public’s time as an entertainment/leisure activity but athletes (especially many athletes of color) were at the forefront of the movement. One of the most prominent athletes protesting at the time, Muhammad Ali, had an iconic line, “I ain’t got no quarrel with them Vietcong!” in response to reporters’ questions regarding his protest of the Vietnam War and subsequently Civil Rights.
The purpose of this assignment is to explore the profession I hope to be working for in the near future. My task for this assignment was to find an engineer who has a degree in Aerospace Engineering, which is the degree that I am pursuing. I had to set up an appropriate setting for an interview with that engineer. I also had to arrange interview questions which consists of their career information’s, requirement skills, and advices that would help me get prepare to work in the field of Aerospace Engineering. I found Gonzalo Mendoza who is an Engineer Specialist in Aero sciences for CESSNA Aircraft Company. Mr. Mendoza graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Aerospace Engineering at San José State University (SJSU) in the Spring of 1997. I chose to interview Mr. Mendoza because other than his position at CESSNA, he was a student at SJSU which is beneficial for me because it would be the best time to ask some advice with senior project designs as well as getting some feedback on courses that are relevant to his job. The interview took place at E-114C at SJSU on Friday February 24, 2012. Prior to the interview, I reminded Mr. Mendoza that he does not need to answer questions with information’s that are confidential. The following questions and answers were recorded during the interview.

The curriculum focused on skills and objectives from several sources. The first are the Technology Applications Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for middle school (Texas Education Agency, 2009). Secondly, the curriculum integrates concepts from the Framework for 21st Century Skills (Partnership for 21st Century Skills, 2004). Also included are learner objectives from the National Educational Technology Standards by the International Society for Technology Education (2007). Finally, the TEKS for middle school social studies (1998) have been integrated into the sample unit of study.
Technology enables students and teachers to have a fast and easy way to acquire unlimited access to tons of information. With all of the useful technologies, the curriculum is bound to change in endless ways, creating more opportunity for learning.
Mission Statement: As an educator I will provide for students the opportunity to make a positive difference in their lives to help them accomplish unexpected goals. I will enhance learning to support my students in achieving their highest potential by integrating technology into the curriculum. I will integrate conceptual technology learning techniques that will implement concrete knowledge of technology that will emphasize mastery of understanding. Through committed support from educators, faculty, staff, parents, and the community, I will advance learning to support my students. This will allow students to become confident, creative, motivated, technology-ready students. I will provide leadership to achieve these standards of excellence each student deserves for a technology driven society.
