As a student, I have experienced good and bad teachers. Throughout high school, bad teachers would carelessly assign class work without giving precise instructions on how to do it. Good teachers possess qualities such as: organization, professionalism, and creativeness. Mrs. Grubbs is the best teacher I have ever had. Dedicated teachers, like Mrs. Grubbs, create captivating ways for students to learn test material, set high standards for students, and inspire students to become better at their task.
Mrs. Grubbs frequently wanted students to engage in class activities and discussions. However, some students did not participate because they were afraid of giving incorrect answers. For this reason, she decided to create captivating ways for students to

Grubbs set high standards for students. For instance, the classroom goal was for each student to score high on the state test. To illustrate, we could not come to class without paper or pencils. Moreover, coming to class unprepared did not meet her high standards. As a result, a zero would be received as a daily grade. She did not believe in making basic or proficient on the state test.
After all, she always inspired students to go above and beyond their limitations. For example, when a student was ready to give up, she motivated them to keep going until they conquered the task. In fact, she would let us know that anything is possible as long as we keep the faith. Because of Mrs. Grubbs, my faith is the size of a mustard seed. Additionally, I admire her for inspiring everyone to be great.
To conclude, these reasons illustrate why Mrs. Grubbs is a dedicated teacher. The first reason is because she creates captivating ways for students to learn test material. Moreover, she sets high standards for students. Finally, she inspires students to become better at their task. Therefore, Mrs. Grubbs is the best teacher I have ever
Annie Turnbo Malone was an entrepreneur and was also a chemist. She became a millionaire by making some hair products for some black women. She gave most of her money away to charity and to promote the African American. She was born on august 9, 1869, and was the tenth child out of eleven children that where born by Robert and Isabella turnbo. Annie’s parents died when she was young so her older sister took care of her until she was old enough to take care of herself.
Helene Melanie Lebel, one of two daughters born to a Jewish family, was raised as a Catholic in Vienna. Her father died during World War I when Helene was only 5 years old, and when Helene was 15, her mother remarried. Helene entered law school, but at age 19, she started showing signs of an illness. By 1935, her illness became so bad severe that she had to give up her law studies. Helene was diagnosed with Schizophrenia and was placed in Vienna’s Steinhof Psychiatric Hospital. Although her condition improved in 1940, Helene was forced to stay in Steinhof. Her parents believed she would soon be released, but in August, her mother was informed that Helene was transferred to Niedernhart. She was actually transported to Brandenburg, Germany where she was led into a gas chamber or room? disguised as a shower room, and was gassed to death. Helene was listed as dying in her room of “acute schizophrenic excitement”.
Ruth Posner is one of the many few holocaust survivors and a great dancer, choreographer and actress. Ruth was born on April 20, 1933, in Warsaw. She was raised in a Jewish family with her parents, but went to a Catholic school. At home, she spoke Polish. Ruth suddenly started hearing offensive comments by some of her close Polish Catholic friends. They said things like “you killed Christ.” It was an incredible shock.” That was just the beginning. By the time she was just 12, and the Second World War was underway, Ruth had lost both her parents and her world as she knew it. She was in the middle of the Holocaust.

An outstanding educator possesses unique qualities that set him or her apart from others in the field. Ask any student about a favorite teacher and listen intently as he or she describes that person with a smile. Ask a parent of a child who will enter first grade in the fall about the teacher choice for their child. The parent would describe the outstanding educator in their desire for that special teacher. The qualities of an outstanding educator are easily recognized by those whose lives they touch, shape, and change on a daily basis. It is in this writing piece that they will be described and discussed.
As a friend to many and a giver to all, John Dobbs was the type of person everyone either wanted to be around or inspired to be like.

Together with the teacher and classmates, students are given the opportunity to speculate and question the world around them and the world awaiting them. Within small peer groups, for instance, students are encouraged to discuss, share, and compromise. The teacher is there to encourage this process, rather than to provide prescribed solutions. Similarly, the learning environment is collaborative and democratic, giving opportunities for all to speak their minds and receive feedback from peers as well as the teacher. This continuous loop of feedback, potentially positive or negative, serves as the means of assessment for problem-solving based instruction.
Right from the time we embark on our education trip, we come across different types of teachers. Some are friendly, some are strict, and some are the ones we idolize. We also dislike a few, who fail to impress us positively. Students begin to like teachers, according to their own individual preferences. They even classify their teachers into different categories, such as Friendly Teachers, Lenient Teachers, Perfectionist Teachers, Strict Teachers and Funny Teachers. All these classifications for teachers are based on some typical personality traits of the teachers. For ex - some teachers constantly criticize the students, some act like friends, some are fun to be with and so on. Let us explore them in detail.
It pushes me to want to work harder. She inspires her students and motivates them to not give up when things get hard. There is always more than one way to accomplish a task. She told me once not to compare myself to others because God made us all to be unique and different, and that you should only strive to better yourself. Ask yourself this, “How can I make me better than what I already am?” Her students looked up to her the way I do. She pushed them the way she pushes me. Her favorite students were the ones that challenged her. The one student some teachers might over look and find to challenging. She liked to make a difference and every student that had passed through her class had earned values they could continue to carry with them throughout life. She does more than just teach, she motivates, inspires and encourages. She’s my motivator and encourager when I want to give up. She once said when you get ready to leave this world the only thing people will remember was the kind of person you were and how you treated other. She will be remember for her kindness, generosity, and ability to always want to help others. I find myself wanting to help other more just from seeing the impact of how little acts of kindness can go a long way, she taught me
Dr. Sly: When I look for good teaching, I am looking for student learning. Ideally, what I want to see is students learning and understanding why they are learning certain things in class. Whenever I walk into a classroom, I ask students “Why?” The response usually tells me if they actually understand and have purpose. This is what good teaching should be, where students show mastery or movement towards mastery. In the end, good teaching is about moving students forward academically and socially.
I have had many excellent teachers throughout my educational experience, some of these have been wonderful teachers that have set lessons to life. Others have been boring, overly strict, unapproachable, and at times unknowledgeable. I have learned valuable lessons from both. A positive and fun learning environment makes students want to be in the classroom. The first step in learning is that the children must want to be there.
There are many things which make a teacher great and they all can`t be defined.However i`ve always considered several of them essential.In my opinion a good teacher is someonewho first of all creates interest in studying,doesn`t underestimate the children,has equal expectations of siccess from everyone and last but not least likes his job.
One good quality a teacher should have is, respect for the students. Each person’s ideas and opinions should be valued and not judged. They should be able to express themselves without feeling insecure. Another good quality is, having high expectations for your students. Each student should be encouraged to do their best and achieve goals that they may have never met before. Another good quality is, I believe a teacher should have is good communication skills. They should keep not only the students informed on what is going on in the class, they should definitely keep the parents informed as well. Teachers need to know how to communicate with all their students because some are at different levels than others.
