Mr. LePape is a 46 year old individual, born and raised in Reunion, France. The father reported that he attended public school in France and graduated in 1985. He attended a culinary institute in France, graduating in 1987. Mr. LePape stated that he has worked as a chef as well as other capacities in restaurants. He currently owns a restaurant in Wilkes Barre, PA.

He indicated that his parents are still married and lives in La Baule France, he has one sister who lives in Paris with whom he is close too. He reported he was physically abused as a child, he was hit with belts and other objects he stated that it happened frequently. He denied any learning or mental health issues as a child.

The father denied any history of arrests. He has never been the subject of an ACS investigation. It was reported, that at the current time, Ms. LePape had an Order of Protection against him in 2013, not allowing him to see the children after the parents had an argument at the mother’s home. He indicated that the Order of Protection was dismissed by the court.

The father reported no history of alcohol abuse, he only drinks minimally for social reasons. He reported a history of substance use, he started smoking marijuana …show more content…

LePape discussed his exposure to mental health professionals. He indicated that the parents met with a marriage therapist, a psychologist when the parent were going through a difficult time in their marriage. He indicated that he also met with an individual therapist at his wife request. He indicated that he wanted to save the marriage and attended a few sessions with psychologist. The father reported stopped attending after the therapist sent him to be evaluated for bipolar disorder. He indicated that the therapist sent him to a psychiatrist who wanted to place him on medication without doing an evaluation. The father stated that he investigated bipolar disorder and did not see himself as bipolar and did not believe he needed to be placed on
