The lower North Shore of Sydney is home to Mosman, which is considered one of Sydney’s grandest suburbs. Mosman is a mere eight kilometres from the central business district via the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Once you’re in Mosman, you have very little reason to leave the suburb unless you work in the CBD or another suburb. What are these amenities that make Mosman so grand?
Lifestyle & People
Mosman is mostly in demand because of its exclusive, affluent, secluded lifestyle. It is home to young families, retirees, babyboomers, and young professionals. The location of Mosman, above the headlands of Sydney Harbour, provides breathtaking scenic views from almost every dwelling in the suburb.

Here are a few of the parks and beaches that make Mosman the great suburb it is.
• Mosman Park is located in the Allan Border Oval and features memorial gardens, street parking, and seating.
• Memorial Park has a playground, street parking, and seating.
• Memory Park offers a playground, basketball hoop, handball court, flat grassy area, seating, a rest area, large trees, and street parking.
• Balmoral Beach has an enclosed swimming area, a boatshed, swimming baths, and a wide boardwalk. If you go to the northern portion of the beach, you can take a short stroll to Chinamans Beach. Balmoral Beach boasts beautiful views of the Sydney Harbour National Park and more.
• Chinamans Beach is one of the nicer harbour side beaches and is ideal for the enjoying time with your kids. It has a grassy park nearby where you will see locals having picnics or gatherings.
