Top 10 Caribbean Beaches
A vacation to the Caribbean gives you the opportunity to experience some of the world's most exquisite beaches. Just about every island of the Caribbean Sea will offer beaches that astound the senses; with a crystalline blue surf, snow-white sand and gently swaying palms.
To help you decide where to travel and more importantly what beach to select, here is a list of the top ten beaches in the Caribbean:
1. Palm Beach (Aruba) -- The utopian beach scene with brilliant white sand awaits you in Aruba's Palm Beach. This is an island paradise where you want to get situated in the hotel, then with your rental car, take off exploring the Arubian countryside like mad. You could go on doing that for a week and still see new discoveries with each jaunt. That's how amazing this place is. The gorgeous Palm Beach features a legion of first-class hotels and restaurants. Experience the Caribbean like never before in Aruba's beautiful Palm Beach.
2. Grand Anse Beach (Grenada) -- If you're looking for a beach with sugar-white sand, plentiful space and shallow waters, this is the ideal place. Located along two fabulous miles of pristine sand and sunshine, this sheltered bay has become a favored spot for both visitors and locals alike. This resplendent beach is prominently featured in advertisements about Grenada and its islands, and is situated conveniently near various leading hotels. Grand Anse is also known for enjoying the most tranquil and serene weather conditions, as the beach is situated on the western leeward side of the island, harboring it from high waves, swift currents and strong winds.
3. Johnson’s Point (Antigua) -- Comprised of lovely secluded coves, Johnson's Point boasts...

.... Shoal Bay (Anguilla) -- The powder-soft white sand and clear shallows receding into the dreamlike blue ocean are splendid -- and yet this coolest of beaches is relatively quiet and uncrowded. Scenically, the tiny coral island doesn't have much going for it, lacking the lush vegetation of other Caribbean islands. But if you're seeking just superb beaches and a brilliant blue sea -- as well as fashionable resort hotels, villas and restaurants -- Shoal Bay is the best of beaches. Stretching for two beautiful miles, the sand is so sumptuous that you sink in up to your ankles. Shoal Bay is also where vacationers flee when they're escaping St. Maarten, the frenetic half-Dutch, half-French island next door. From there, you can hop a ferry over and spend the day, lounging in a hammock under palm trees. Peaceful Shoal Bay is the Caribbean as it ought to be.
I have been to Florida a billion times, but there are only two places that I normally visit. Sanibel Island and Destin. Traveling to Sanibel Island is almost like a tradition for my family because every year we try to go down there. My grandparents first went to Sanibel with my whole family (cousins and all) about 15 years ago and ever since then, it has been our family’s main “vacation spot”. I have gone to Sanibel almost every year, but last year I also went to Destin. Now the main reason we decided to go there as well is because we wanted to travel somewhere nearby the panhandle of Florida. The water and beaches are also very contrasting in comparison to Sanibel. Sanibel’s beaches even had heaps of sea shells going out into the water. The sand is also more dense than that of Destin. Even Sanibel’s water is darker and more cloudy, so it was crazy to see Destin’s water so clear! The beach (which is called Emerald Cove, where I stayed at) had sand that was so white and soft it
You should know about the Bahamas because it will be a great place to take your family on a vacation.
These beaches provide a place of rest and relaxation from the minute person steps on to one. One in particular that is the most famous of all of Puerto Rico would the Flamenco beach. This is the most attractive. The sand is warm as the summer sun and so soft your feet just sink. The water is crystal blue and shimmers as the sun sets on it. Even as the sun sets you can still see the coral reef with a spectrum of colors throughout these reefs house exotic fish and birds.

California’s most ravishing views must be its coastline. There are amazing, refined, long stretches of beaches that offer a wide variety of sceneries. Beautiful white sand coming from Santa Monica, Long Beach and Big Sur. All types of people from the state of California to people from Florida enjoy California beaches. Some even like to hang loose and surf on the waves coming off the coast. Incredible evenings make families in California come together to watch the sun set. Florida beaches are not just well known in the USA but all around the world. Beaches that come to mind are Miami, Clearwater, and Sarasota beach. Miami beach is considered one of the “sexiest beaches in America.” With all the parties thrown on the beach, spring break is a local one stop for students that are coming out of Miami University. Clearwater beach, years ago, was ranked as the number one beach on the planet, with its white powdery sand and super clear water. Sarasota beach is quiet, and one can hear the natural crashing of the waves hitting the shore that sooths anybody trying to relax and enjoy their
Jamaica is an extremely exotic and tropical island when it comes to all of its different features. It has so many different landforms such as the Blue Mountains or the St. Elizabeth River. The plant and animal life is just amazing with all the tropical birds or even the beautiful flowers. Jamaica’s human life is just as tremendous. The families in this country trust each other and they are the most important things in each other’s lives. Jamaica seems like an amazing place to live and visit as a tourist.

Jamaica is one of the three islands in the Northern Caribbean forming the Greater Antilles. It's the largest English-speaking country in the Caribbean Sea, and stretches 146 miles from east to west. The country's name is derived from an Aarawak word “Xaymaca", meaning "land of wood and water". Jamaica has one of the richest and most varied landscapes in the region. The center of the island is mostly mountainous and heavily wooded, spotted occasionally with small mining towns and villages, while the land is low along the coast, providing for some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
So, a small group went to the western Caribbean out of Port Canaveral, Fla., and “We just loved it. We kept booking (cruises), and we went with other couples. We just got hooked on them.”
Some top beaches include Esmeralda Beach, Varadero Beach and the island consists of numerous majestic coastlines and the northern beaches are famous among the tourist for the fine golden sands and Atlantic Ocean’s turquoise waves but the southern beaches are less popular. The Caribbean may be a great place to vacation, but is it safe? The Caribbean is known for its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful landscape, but countries in the region are poor and getting poorer and becoming increasingly unsafe. The region “depends for its livelihood on entertaining people who want carefree holidays to escape the harsh realities of life” (Canute, 2002). Because of “poverty, inequality, and social marginalization” (Canute, 2002) countries in the Caribbean are subject to massive crime that affects their economies. In addition, they are the unfortunate victims of their geographic location. Prime Minister of the Bahamas, Perry Christie, states, “We straddle the sea lanes and flight paths between producer countries in South America and the vast consumer markets to the north of us. We are caught in the middle” (Canute, 2002). Drug trafficking is particularly affecting the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad where large crime organizations set up operations.
...autiful and exciting place. The water is unlike any other body of water that I had ever laid my eyes upon. Worthy of the nickname ‘God’s swimming pool”, it has a seemingly endless horizon that reaches as far as the eye can see. The sand is so fine and powdery and it amazes me at how it can change textures with just a little bit of water. Perhaps the most amazing part of the beach is the vast array of wildlife that inhabits the area. From fish to crabs, you will never see the same creature twice. Each animal has their own distinct characteristics which make it exciting to explore and try to find more. My favorite place in the world is definitely the beach and I highly recommend visiting and seeing it with your own two eyes. It is an infinite world of expression, a paradise of color. There is no possibility of disappointment when it comes to the serenity of the ocean.
