Dear Monteverio,
I’m writing in response to your recently advertised position for a composer. I am very interested in this opportunity with Norton Publishing Company and believe that my qualifications, education and professional experience would make me a strong candidate for the position.
I am a creative composer who has created many techniques in the compositions. I have created music form so called “4’33’’”, which is famous and controversial in the music field. I have a lot of accomplishments during my life experiences, such as “Two”, which I created in 1987, it is involved with the performance of flute and piano. The composition used most short fragments of music, usually it only contains a note. I believe it is simple but meaningful
This concert is held by the Stony Brook University music department and is to perform seven pieces of music written by seven student composers. The concert is performed in Recital Hall of Staller Center in Stony Brook University. Since it is a small hall, audiences are very close to the performers. In fact, it is the first time I am this close to the performers and the sound for me is so clear and powerful that seems like floating in front of my eyes. Among the seven pieces, “Ephemeral Reveries” and “Gekko no mori” are piano solo, “Two Songs for Joey” is in piano and marimba, “Suite” and “Fold Duet No. 1” are in woodwinds, “Elsewhere” is played by string groups, and “e, ee, ree, and I was free” is in vocal. Personally, I like the sound of piano and guitar the best. Therefore, in the latter part I will analysis two pieces in piano, “Gekko no mori” and “Two Songs for Joey”.
1. Music is a strictly local expression, rich in variety since each culture expresses affective differences through art, 2. Music is a poetic process--complex, vague, and irrational--based upon borrowed traditional musical materials (melodies, rhythms, forms, etc.), 3. Music is for a religious, elitist-class performer who can understand and appreciate its mysterious nature and power, 4. Music is played softly in intimate gatherings, 5. Music making is the activity of Everyman, exacting the talents of variously trained amateurs who, with industry and practice, decorate their recreation and leisure in moments of social intercourse.
The contributions and achievements of Indigenous role models continue to make substantial impacts upon our history in areas such as the arts, sport, education, science and more increasingly; the world of Politics. Modern Australia is recognising and celebrating the achievements of Aboriginal people more than ever before, where the social landscape is changing (albeit slowly) as a result. The gradual change of peoples ingrained preconceptions, unfounded ideas and prejudiced notions are being challenged and ultimately transformed.
Still in the preparatory stage, review the details given in the vacancy and match up your skills to what they are looking for in a candidate. Pick out ...
I am writing to ask you to consider me for the Digital Collections & Metadata Assistant position this summer. It is a combination of many things that i’m interested in-- libraries, spreadsheets, and technology-- and for that reason know I would be very well suited to the position.
A peer to such keyboard greats - such as Rubenstein, Thalberg, and Liszt - Clara Schumann (1819-1896) was a brilliant pianist and composer. Carrying a career which extended over sixty years, Schumann contributed a great deal of repertoire to the world of Lieder. Much like her performing technique, her compositions were famous for carrying a beautiful tone and poetic temperament. In analyzing Clara Schumann’s Liebst du um Schönheit, one can cultivate an understanding of Schumann’s compositional techniques, as they are implemented in the style of German lieder.
A great influential composer is Ludwig Van Beethoven, born in Bonn, who lived from 1770-1826. Beethoven among the masters of classical music such as Mozart and Haydn, set the stage for the creation of the musical canon, which focused on the most famous compositions created. This musical canon set a tradition in the way music was composed, which in turn created the “musical museum”. This “museum” is filled with compositions that followed the musical canon which is what created the

Composition music theory is the study of which you learn to write and develop a creative ability to compose. There are many ways for you to learn about what it can lead to in a career and to create a greater understanding in music. It has many ways of affecting a mind and how it affects a person’s abilities
give importance to friendship and creativity in the working environment. By focusing on these styles and strategies, she achieved success in previous business and promoted Marimekko from verge of bankruptcy to greater or peak success.
It began on a whim during one particular session: while the students were busily at work on an unrelated quiz, I took dictation from the auditory environment in the classroom. That is, I wrote down (as one might write down music) the inadvertent sounds made by the students as they wrote the test. This is a sound world familiar to all teachers: the students, suddenly resolute, are anxiously scribbling away and producing involuntary sounds: sighs, grunts, low moans, inhalations, ruffling, pencil-clicks and chair-squeaks. Incorporating the low hum of the ventilation system, I compiled the sounds into a neat musical score by drawing the sounds as they occurred over a twenty-second time span. I then titled my piece "Twenty Seconds of Music 20A Taking a Quiz."
Music is a very unique phenomenon embedded in human and animal value system. It is used by various sections of the society to express their thoughts, to appreciate, to communicate and to entertain. Animals and birds are also believed to use music in their daily activities for purposes of entertainment and search for food and prey. Some of the famous musical tones include John Cage’s 4’33, Schoenberg’s parrot Lunaire and Os Mustantes musical rock band. John Cage’s 4’33 is a musical composition comprising of a pianist who goes to a Piano and refrains from hitting any of its keys for four minutes and thirty three seconds. The entire piece was comprised of silences in different lengths. On the other hand, Os Mustantes was comprised of Brazilian
Many people listen to music in many different ways. They create a style or listening pattern that brings out the most enjoyment for them. However, just being a listener of music only scratches the surface of the music enjoyment experience. There lies another layer or ‘dimension’ if you will underneath. This dimension is reserved for the one who receives ‘the spirit thought to inspires poets’. The musician creates as well as listens. He will ponder the music with a deeper appreciation, more feeling, and all done for the love of it.
I joined the Brass Quintet only last year, but as its Student director this year, I find that it is pushing the boundaries of my musical expertise to their limits. As important as accountability for each member is because the Brass Quintet is such a small chamber group, I have found that my duties as the student director have proven to be much more important. As part of my responsibilities as student director, I am expected to select new repertoire music for the group – I have taken it upon myself to create a personal, unique arrangement of my high school Alma Mater for the chamber group myself as part of this. This pushes my capabilities as a musician, but also serves as a reminder of how much of an impact music, and specifically playing the trumpet, has had on my life. It is a symbol of how I will continue to push myself musically, and in whatever course of life I choose, and how I will remember and maintain my trumpet playing for the rest of my
