Have you ever seen someone come home after surviving in war and be depressed? While friends and families of returning service members, many of them welcome home service men who are struggling with emotions. In life-or-death situations, military personnel should be held accountable for their actions. When you join the military, you get told what to do, and you can’t say no to the general. Some evidence of why they get told what to do so much is because they don’t want to mess up on the battlefield. The number of people that have died on the battlefield because they messed up has added up to 4.5 million people, just reminding you that is just from messing up. Most of the people that join the military and risk their lives, all they want to do is protect the country that they come from. Some more evidence that I found on why the military is put into tough situations is because they want to ensure freedom and protection around the world. I like this evidence because I love having my freedom. I sure hope you do too, because the military does a lot for this country. On the other hand, some military soldiers should not be held accountable for their actions in war. Some evidence on why the military should not be held accountable for their actions in war is because they are killing the terrorists and all the bad people at war and not the civilians. I like this evidence because when they kill the terrorist it makes the country safer and I like being safe.
