In the movie, Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse, the protagonist lost trust in a character they knew, loved, and looked up to, showing that losing trust in others can ruin and/or fade your relationship with them. From the movie, the protagonist's father, Jefferson Davis stated “You know, with great ability comes great accountability.” With that being said, if you do not take accountability for your actions, trust can be lost resulting in it ruining a relationship with someone. Sometimes it is very hard to step up and take accountability and responsibility for your actions, but when you do, it can build your character and relationship with someone and make you feel a lot better about yourself while allowing others to trust you. Miles was bitten by a radioactive spider while he was tagging a wall with his Uncle Aaron. He later found out that he was Spider-Man, and when Peter Parker died, it was Miles’ time to step up and save the multiverse. The other Spider-people from the different universes came to help take down Kingpin. It was up to Miles to shut down the Super-Collider so all the Spider-people could go back to their own universe and they did not believe in Miles to actually do it. Miles proved them wrong and saved the multiverse and took down Kingpin and the Super-Collider. A second example of the loss of trust affecting your relationship is when Miles trusted his Uncle Aaron and then came to find out his uncle was working for Kingpin (Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse). Miles found this out when he was trying to fight off Green Goblin. Kingpin had sent the Prowler for backup and when they were fighting the Prowler managed to see Miles’ face and did not let go of him while he was holding him over the roof of a house and Miles saw that it was Uncle …show more content…
Those actions made Miles very upset and later made him feel like he could not trust Uncle Aaron. If Uncle Aaron would have told Miles right away, Miles probably would not have been as upset and would have appreciated the fact that he told him. One time I have experienced this is when a friend betrayed me by hanging out with someone they talked badly about and acted like they did not like. When something like that happens, it is hard to trust someone that lies to you about who they like when they could easily have told me the truth. Being truthful and accountable should always be your first action because lying and trying to come back to the truth from that is harder and could affect your relationship in a negative way. Another example of losing trust for someone you love and the loss of trust affecting your relationship is from the Netflix series of Bridgerton season 2, episode 8: The Viscount Who Loved Me. In the show, Eloise and Penelope have been friends for a very long time. Penelope is secretly Lady Whistledown, the town gossiper. Queen Charlotte is not very fond of Lady
“Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for.” This quote from Johnny Depp is his most famous quote. Johnny is a very well respected Hollywood actor and has become wise over his years. This quote is full of truth and is really thought provoking. People that you know are dishonest are hard to trust to do something, but at least you know that they are not trustworthy. Someone that you believe is trustworthy may be a dishonest person and you do not know it. So you put your trust in them and they take advantage of your trust and betray you. That is not always the case, but sadly it does happen more than you would know.
Trust is a trait one should obtain for the people they know are the most honest. To trust someone means to put ones full confidence and reliability on an acquaintance such as someone one is close with. In The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Brutus, one of the leading characters put his complete trust in the people trying to tell him what he should believe. Brutus joined the conspirators to help take down Julius Caesar because he believed it was what was good for Rome based on what he was deceived. This resulted in the killing of Caesar and the death of himself and others. Not considering the right kind of trust in someone can lead to very troubling things. Cassius told a lie as if it was a truth so Brutus
Trust is the one thing in this world that lots of people desire. Who wants to have any type of relationship without trust? It is not something that should be automatically given though, trust has to be earned. People should not automatically trust just because they know them or have been knowing them for a while.
Loyalty between two things can help them gain a trust. However if one decides to abuse that trust, then the loyalty between the two things is broken.
First of all, every human being needs to trust. Trust takes a lot to build, but at the same time it does take seconds to break. When being betrayed by someone they build trust with causes distrusts. “The Compass of Friendshp” is a book by William K. Rawlins, who discusses how a person betrays his friends friendship. “Most of us would agree that the loyalty and confidence of friendship is a scared of trust. Close friendship
The most immediate effect of the betrayal of trust is in the emotional impact on the person betrayed. When a person feels they have been betrayed, they may seek some form of justice by making something right that is wrong. When one person betrays another it is highly unlikely that trust will be easy between the two again.
For instance, lying can lead to discomfort, distance and, fear. For one thing, Christopher felt uncomfortable around his dad because of the lie. Father tells him, “‘We’re only human.’ Then he held up his right hand and spread his fingers out in a fan. But I screamed and pushed him backward…” (122). Usually when Father does this, it is okay but, Christopher was in so much shock, he did not know what to do. He did not want to Father to touch him. Eventually, Christopher decides that, “ I had to get out of the house” (122). He felt the need to escape and break away from Father after what had happened so, he did would distance himself from Father. Additionally, Christopher is in fear towards his father, after being lied to and told the truth, the next morning, “... I heard Father coming down to the garden and I took out my Swiss Army knife out of my pocket … in case he found us” (127). The reason for this is because when Christopher finds out that Father is the one who kills Wellington, he was afraid that he could be the next victim to this murder crime which made him really scared. Trust is important between people. When it is lost, people feel discomfort, the need to distance themselves, and the sense of fear.
Trust within family members is one of the strongest forms of trust in the world. This is because people will tend to trust other people that they have known for a long time, which are family members. However if this trust is broken, it could be a huge disaster. If someone breaks trust with a friend or acquaintance, it will suffer some consequences.
and justification behind it. Betrayal to one another is often due to neglection of one’s trust
Betrayal can cause a person problems such as separation of families and friends, unexpected deaths, or lost of trust. On a daily basis people are betrayed, hurt and lied from people they have developed a close bond with. They lie and hurt the people that they will need when everything gets tough.
Trust is defined as the reliance on the integrity, strength, ability or surety of a person or thing. To break ones trust is to lose their confidence in the person or thing. Trust can be broken with a single, unreliable action and is often challenging and difficult to win back. In the case of the one whose trust was broken, it is a difficult, jarring and abrupt change of reality to discover the betrayal and loss of trust in someone who they once relied upon . In William Shakespeare 's play entitled Hamlet, the protagonist Hamlet is unable to take swift revenge on his father 's murderer. This is due to the fact that Hamlet has become distrustful of the most important people in his life and so this sparks a question in those around him but also
The biggest way that my actions affect other people is that of betrayal. Other people trust me with responsibilities, and when I take a negative action towards that trust it decreases. On the other hand, if I have a positive reaction towards the trust that awarded to my behalf, then I am trusted with more and bigger responsibilities. Trust comes in many shapes and forms, and there are too many people in the world today for us to not go a day without someone relying on us in some way. There are many things that we are obliged to do on a daily basis.

responsibility is being accountable to yourself and others. Trust is a subject in and of itself, but is
Trust is a powerful emotion and can easily be manipulated. In Shakespeare's Tragedy Othello the Moor of Venice the character Iago uses trust as his sword. Othello is so easily duped by Iago because of his carefully built reputation of being honest. Iago studies each character and he knows each weakness. "What should I do? I confess it is my shame to be so fond; but it is not in my virtue to amend it". (847) This was words from Rodrigo to Iago letting Iago know his feelings toward Desmona and giving Iago a tool to use it against him.
