In the movie, Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse, the protagonist lost trust in a character they knew, loved, and looked up to, showing that losing trust in others can ruin and/or fade your relationship with them. From the movie, the protagonist's father, Jefferson Davis stated “You know, with great ability comes great accountability.” With that being said, if you do not take accountability for your actions, trust can be lost resulting in it ruining a relationship with someone. Sometimes it is very hard to step up and take accountability and responsibility for your actions, but when you do, it can build your character and relationship with someone and make you feel a lot better about yourself while allowing others to trust you. Miles was bitten by a radioactive spider while he was tagging a wall with his Uncle Aaron. He later found out that he was Spider-Man, and when Peter Parker died, it was Miles’ time to step up and save the multiverse. The other Spider-people from the different universes came to help take down Kingpin. It was up to Miles to shut down the Super-Collider so all the Spider-people could go back to their own universe and they did not believe in Miles to actually do it. Miles proved them wrong and saved the multiverse and took down Kingpin and the Super-Collider. A second example of the loss of trust affecting your relationship is when Miles trusted his Uncle Aaron and then came to find out his uncle was working for Kingpin (Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse). Miles found this out when he was trying to fight off Green Goblin. Kingpin had sent the Prowler for backup and when they were fighting the Prowler managed to see Miles’ face and did not let go of him while he was holding him over the roof of a house and Miles saw that it was Uncle …show more content…

Those actions made Miles very upset and later made him feel like he could not trust Uncle Aaron. If Uncle Aaron would have told Miles right away, Miles probably would not have been as upset and would have appreciated the fact that he told him. One time I have experienced this is when a friend betrayed me by hanging out with someone they talked badly about and acted like they did not like. When something like that happens, it is hard to trust someone that lies to you about who they like when they could easily have told me the truth. Being truthful and accountable should always be your first action because lying and trying to come back to the truth from that is harder and could affect your relationship in a negative way. Another example of losing trust for someone you love and the loss of trust affecting your relationship is from the Netflix series of Bridgerton season 2, episode 8: The Viscount Who Loved Me.
