Because roofers work in mean heat, they can have a heat stroke a lot easier than a normal person. That way they don't have to pay a company to do it, and they are saving money when doing this. It can also be hard on they muscles because they are bending and sitting in awkward positions for a while. Some people will be on the ground; others will be on the roof. If they don’t like to be outside and in hot or cold weather then this is probably not a good job for they. If they like being outside and can stand the hot or cold weather and they are athletic then this might be a good job for they.

"The house is 10 feet by 10 feet, and it is built completely of corrugated paper. The roof is peaked, the walls are tacked to a wooden frame. The dirt floor is swept clean, and along the irrigation ditch or in the muddy river...." " ...and the family possesses three old quilts and soggy, lumpy mattress. In the first two stanzas, the author repeats the word landlord twice in each stanza. This emphasizes the landlord specifically in both of these stanzas. He does this in order to show that the landlord is the main part of the issue that is being addressed and the one for the audience to focus on at the time. In the third stanza, the repeated phrase is “Ten Bucks”. This is repeated to show what the landlord lord believes the man owes him. This emphasizes the landlords desire to get something out of the man that is unnecessary. The fourth stanza repeats the phrase “You gonna,” at the beginning of the different lines. This exemplifies the man’s feeling of oppression from the landlord. The man asks the landlord how he is going to react to what is going on with him and the current issue. Each of these repeated words in the different stanzas are used to point out one of the many issues that is being addressed in the
A magnanimous amount of motivation for the tenant farmers was generally found in the self, in an individualistic manner. As "gentle (winds) followed the rain clouds," furthering the magnitude of the dust storms, the survival of the farmers and their families soon became doubtful. The men would sit in "the doorways of their houses; their hands were busy with sticks and little rocks... (as they) sat still--thinking--figuring." The adversity represented by the weather was hindered by the idea that man could triumph over nature--over the machine--and retain a sense of self-identity.

David Robinson is often regarded as one of the greatest centers to ever play the game of basketball. He was born on August 6, 1965 to Ambrose and Freda Robinson. As a student he excelled in all of his classes, and sports except basketball. By his senior year in high school he stood an incredible 6 feet, 7 inches tall, but had never played organized basketball. However, the basketball coach at his high school noticed Robinson and added him to the team without ever testing him. Robinson soon earned all-area and all-district honors, but not the attention of any college basketball coaches. But this did not matter to him, as basketball was not his first priority. Getting an education and becoming a student in the United States Naval Academy were his main concerns. After scoring a 1320 on the SAT, his goal of joining the Naval Academy was soon accomplished (Lewis, 16).
