I. Introduction
Education is the action of knowledge a person acquires throughout their learning process, which is essential in most countries such as in Mexico and America. In the matter of education, Mexico and America go in the same hand. However, there are many differences between the educational system. These contrasts can be found in the literacy, culture, and the context (structure) of the educational systems.

Literacy plays an important role in education concerning the person’s form of learning within reading and writing. The literacy in Mexico as well as in America demonstrates how education has improved and how important it is in each country. Therefore, culture can be a helpful source to a successful education and an obstacle, since we all have different beliefs and perceptions. In America culture education involves all beliefs and perceptions of the country. However, in Mexico the educational system does not consider anyone else perceptions when it comes to culture or school content. All parents are invited to school with the expectation of monetary support, and education is not as consider as the economic status of the country. In the matter of economic poverty is a major issue in Mexico that disrupts education, especially when students must pay for books after six grade. Children in Mexico tend to work earlier to help support their families than the children in the United states. For this reason , America , however dropout rates and don’t make students pay books or classes until college. In addition to Mexico’s beliefs and perceptions, parents are not part of the governing boards of schools nor are they asked for their opinion towards school success. The teachers and their teaching methods differ from the ones in America since in America the teachers take students life and education more in consideration. In Mexico, comparison to America the country contains a special method for rural areas called “telesecundarias,” which are equivalent to seventh, eight, and ninth grade of junior high school. In this teaching method students are thought by having every hour a fifteen-minute televised lesson, then are given forty-five minutes to complete assignments in their national text book with the support of a teacher or para professional. In the context of assignments, the number system in Mexico is from the scale of ten to five; ten being the best grade, six; passing poorly, and five; failing. The Structure of the educational system in Mexico divides into preschool which is not mandatory in America, primary school that is within one-six grade, junior high school with the comprising grades of seventh-nine, and high school consisting of tenth-twelve grade. To continue, most students in Mexico finish school at the grade nine since high school is expensive and is not mandatory while in America is. Also, the time for schooling is different from Mexico and America. Mexico has day and night classes from primary school to high school. America provides additional resources such as programs and scholarships to help with the education
