of life in the Finger Lakes region.5 To make the review easier, I’ve divided the statements into 5 parts and relate each part to their “about us” section in their website.
1. It appears that they strive to always sell delicious and best food by always getting the freshest fish and shellfish shipped to them within 48 hours of receipt at the dock and already packed in ice from the time of catch, and then stored at temperature controlled warehouses and refrigerated trucking on their way to Maxie’s. For other ingredients, they use local and organic whenever possible. They are commited to small scale family farms where passion and care is taken in growing the products. 2. In the statement, they wrote that they always try to satisfy the customers, thus making them always want to visit again. This also appears to be valid point, because they prioritize customers happiness by hosting free music events every Sunday and
Tuesday, they also ensure that they bartenders will be attentive to the customers. One last thing, they will wait for their customers even if the customers come late in the night and they never close earlier than their stated hours. 3. This part states about their concern about their employees welfare, however there’s almost no explanation in their “about us” on how to ensure that. Despite of lacking explanation on how to make their employees comfortable, it is safe to assume that they are indeed comfortable to work there because of the working environment that seems to be always lively and Maxie’s seem to really care about the employees because it is stated that they believe in them and they are there to contribute to the betterment of the Finger Lakes by also involving communities in their actions. While also they pay respect to the musicians who participate in their Sunday and Tuesday night event. 4. They are dynamic, they change their menu seasonally to reflect produce and seafood that is in its prime. Their menu changes to reflect the influence of the weather on what naturally grows and on what foods people crave each season, while still maintaining their classic Southern roots. So it seems that they try to make their concept always fresh and exciting 5. They also hosted fund raising event for renovation of Ithaca State Theatre, it is a proof that Maxie’s cares about Finger Lakes as stated in their mission.

Many scholars believe that customer satisfaction has a crucial role in the success of a business, and is pivotal in increasing the overall profitability of the business (Kotier, 1991). Customer value is gained through the experience they receive from the goods or purchases they have obtained from a certain business. Customer value has various definitions and concepts, Holbrook (1999) stated that it is a kind of “interactive, mutual, and preferred experience”; but simply said, “the term customer value has many meanings.”
We claim that it is the customer's entire experience with us that determines his or her declaration of satisfaction. We say that this experience is not objective at all but totally subjective. It is the customer's call. That call is based upon the customer's perception of the experience. This perception is his/her interpretation of the value received played back against his expectations.
