Everybody has doubted and had fear in themselves at least once in their life life-time. When someone shows no doubt and no fear that is when they have faith and believe in themselves. The dictionary states that the word faith is used as a noun, it defines that Faith is ¨confidence or trust in a person or a thing” it also states that it is a “belief that is not based on proof”. Common synonyms used for faith include ¨belief¨, “truth”, “confidence”, and “acceptance”. The opposite of faith is not doubt but fear. People may show examples of faith in their daily lives. Like when someone is scared to go for something or if they are really nervous to do that something, it is common that most people put their faith in God, or in themselves. When people put faith in themselves or in God they know that they may achieve something they have always wanted to achieve. At that age or even any age you should never have to go through anything like that. Before she had gotten shot Malala knew that the taliban were eventually gonna find her but she wasn’t scared, as she said “I wasn’t scared, but I had started making sure the gate was locked at night and asking God what happens when you die”. Malala had taken precautions and tried to prepare herself just in case she might run into one of the taliban. Malala prayed to God and put her faith in him that he would pull her out of any bad situation she came across. As Malala was recovering from getting shot from the Taliban people would tell her she wouldn’t make it home. Malala refused to believe them, and said “Some people say I will never return home, but I believe firmly in my heart that I will.” and Malala did.
