Why do M&M’s taste better? Out of all kinds of pebble-sized candies, studies show that the majority of people say M&M's flavor is unmatched. This is because the smaller, compact form of M&M’s makes the candy shell larger than the chocolate and milk interior, making it sweeter. Skittles, however, aren’t as sweet due to the fact that they have more artificial flavors, making them taste like fruit. From peanuts to pretzels, there’s a higher chance of people liking M&M’s due to the varying products.
